Man, I asked some legit questions on the first page and it got trampled and not answered because of the "discussion" taking place

I don't think anyone knows for sure which is shocking because according to CashHomey only Xbox leaves things vague.

Awe, come one Stout. Surely you know how to look at a user's previous posts. No time for that? Easier to just make sweeping generalizations?

Am I wrong?

Yes.

quote:

Which system are you getting first?

I have no idea. I'm going to wait and see what true exclusives each gets and how those pan out.

quote:

Which do you have now?

I have a 360, a PS3, a Wii, and a decent PC. (And several other older consoles.)

quote:

Which do you play the most out of the ones you have now?

These days, my PC. During the early days of the 360, when I had time for multiplayer, I played the 360 the most. That's what my friends were all on.

Then I had a couple of kids and single player became my focus. It's jumped form platform to platform depending on the game since then but lately Steam sales have gotten me.

Yes that and basing it off of your recent posts that seemed to be defending PS like Taylor and UH but I told you I could be wrong and I am if what you say is true.

I'm sorry. I think it means games you've purchased digitally. I have trouble picturing a scenario where a publisher would allow you to download an entire game to a friend's console, simply because you own the disc somewhere.

That is, unless discs come with codes of some sort tieing them to your account, which would defeat the purpose of the disc in the first place, save for the time to download the game.

Maybe someone can share a link to contradict this, though?

Nah...I already fricked it seven ways from Sunday.

Nothing more to be said as this is a non issue since both systems have it.

Umm my 360 already lets me do this.....

I use this all the time when I go visit the parents. This in a better form was HUGE feature of the One before reversal of the DRM issue and most of you PS fan boys shrugged it off like it was nothing. Some of you are so hilariously blinded by your fan boyism

quote:

Also, the ability to have your entire game library digitally linked to your Xbox Live account has been killed, meaning disc-based games - while still mandatorily installed to the Xbox One's hard drive - won't be part of your library, and can't be easily redownloaded in the event your disc is damaged or lost. Furthermore, it means disc based games must remain in the drive while they're being played, and you must swap discs to swap between disc-based games.

But no you were probably part of the ignorant low iq masses who couldn't give 2 shits about this when microsoft proposed this, but now that sony is doing it time to start the circle jerk thread

You don't like to verify what you say is true before you say it even when specifically asked twice to do so? Okay. I'll keep that in mind.

I'm not sure when I've defended PS but even if I have, I don't know how that makes me a PS zealot.

Both Sony and MS (and Steam) are companies looking to make money. They both have offerings that are enticing in their own ways. However, neither has released anything I can actually try out myself (or get trusted reviews on), so neither is getting my money until then.

You can do this on the 360 right now as long as you stay online. If you go offline it will kick you off after some time. I think it is like 30-45 minutes

You can also be a PC player with a biased towards a particular console

I'm referring to the board's collective, categorical perception of a given poster, regardless of their true partialities. Such inferences can be inaccurately drawn, rendering the board's perception of the user as biased towards a specific platform, when, in reality, no such bias may exist (as demonstrated in this thread).

It's a message board. All we have to go off of are posts.

If your post history shows you as leaning one way then what other conclusions can be made?

These perceptions can be off from the way a person is in reality but again you can only use your best judgement and context clues about what a poster shares and posts.

I'm just sort of blown away by the level of fanaticism on this board.

"Oh? You like what you've heard about the dual shock 4? You MUST be a Sony fanboy!"

"Wait, what? You liked Microsoft's DRM policy? We got a M$ zealot over here everybody!!"

The last time I was a fanboy for anything game related, I was 11 and it was for the Sega Genesis. And I was immature and ignorant like many 11 year olds are.

Most posters on this board seem to be at least in their 20's, if not older, so I'm really surprised by how a lot of the big posters on here act. I lurked a long time before posting anything on here but I feel like I've decided to get more involved at the exact wrong time, in the wake of 2 big console launch announcements.

No,

You just decided to start posting at the exact time that Stout decided to shite all over this board without indignation.

I do enjoy your posts however.
