This past draft may be the best one in a long time. It's just that there isn't anything threatening on offense.
The defense will be fine I think. They miss Lewis and Byrd and there's zero pass rush. But Anthony, Swann and Kikaha are going to be really good football players.

Both. His receivers did work to help out. Most were pretty damn open and I'm sure USC was more concerned with the running game.

Yeah, there were a few threads I was trying to follow on the MSB about it. It's been declining since they've really started to be overprotective with the player safety stuff. That's a double edged sword. There are far too many penalties nowadays. And, the commercials...

Commercials are nowhere near as bad as college
The NFL still manages to get a game in at close to 3 hours
College games seem to go 4 hours normally now, even after the recent clock changes

For some reason I never feel like the commercials in the college game are as bad as NFL. I'm not saying you're wrong, it's just that there are commercials at every turn in an NFL broadcast.
