I think Atlanta's offense isn't bad, but the Saints defense shouldn't be that bad either. They didn't play well at all. It's Week 1, I'll chalk it up to that.

Which poster is your brother?

I knew when we scored that we left too much time on the clock. Hell, Atl didn't even have to burn their last timeout until they were ready to kick. That's fricking ridiculous

ETA: champ must be really washed up to be cut for P-Rob

Patrick O Rly... from what I can tell, sic and his brother probably could be more different.

I do laugh my arse off at Patrick's youtube videos

Agreed, but you can't assume you'll score when you want to. Get it when it's there. It's up to the defense to step up and they obviously didn't.

It's never a foregone conclusion that you're going to score, but you have to play the odds that you will and not leave time on the clock ESPECIALLY when your defense hasn't shown you it made the trip from training camp.

Oh I agree. That's what I was implying. That we were leaving it on our defense who pretty much shite the bed all day

The first thing Dad Banana said was "Great, 1:20 left on the clock". WE'VE SEEN IT ALL TOO MANY TIMES

Their kicker never misses. Hell it seems anytime the Saints need a kicker to miss they always nail it. frick

He's really good. They played well. It just sucks that we couldn't play any defense or drain the clock. Oh well.

frickin' Seattle, man.

I just wish they'd run the ball more. No stretch outside play bullshite. Just up the fricking gut with Ingram and Khiry. Open up play action.

They actually ran effectively, but Sean Payton likes to throw throw throw throw all game long. I know Drew Brees is your best player on the field so why not keep the ball in his hands, right? But look how that philosophy has hurt us in the playoffs.

I'm with you on the running, always have been. I hate complaining about Sean Payton because he's one of the best coaches in the NFL and definitely the best the Saints franchise has ever had. But just run the ball and kill the clock, Sean.

Well, when he starts trying to force balls, like he always does, he ends up throwing a pick at the worst time i.e. pick in the end zone

That was a good play by the DB, though. And that route shouldn't be a Brandin Cooks route IMO. I would love to have seen any number of our bigger targets running that route. But, Cooks was on fire and why not try?

That should have been a Colston ball. I get cooks being on fire, but he's a vertical field stretcher/make someone miss player, get him the ball then.

He had 1, 9 yard reception in the 2nd half, if I read that correctly. Instead we are trying to hit Morgan. Just seemed to be shooting ourselves
