Not true, check the sales lately.

FWIW, I bought a Panosonic Plasma about 5 months ago and regret it. It's not a bad TV, but I should have gone LED as I prefer the picture.

PS4 has a touchpad, Xbox has voice control.

And now people wanna act like a touchpad is some big breakthrough. I watched the video with the robots, the coolest thing you can do with the DS4 is vacuum.

But hey, maybe this will get some moms to actually buy it instead of just gamers.

If we are judging Kinect and the Eye based on what has been shown, than neither has been that fantastic IMO. Definitely not a "must have" item IMO.

Hey, at least customers have the option. AMIRITE?!?!

Somehow I am not surprised this topic has so many replies.

I was wondering when this thread was going to be posted over here. Shu Yoshida has already said that developers will be able to turn the light off if the game doesn't use it. LINK

So, having it always on would definitely be annoying if the game I'm playing doesn't utilize it, but I don't think it's a huge deal.

I think I saw it on Reddit, and I knew it was only a matter of time.

My TV is above a fireplace, so I'm hoping this won't affect me with my Plasma.

Well if the user can't turn it off, that is horseshite. What if you don't want to use it?

Exactly.

You can turn off or pause the Kinect. Sounds like a big Sony FAIL to me.

Where is the OUTRAGE !!!!!!!!

Got to hope that they give that option. We don't know how it'll be utilized quite yet (or how instrusive it'll be. The PS3 controller has a red LED light indicating which controller you're choosing as does the 360), but if enough people complain, it'll be changed.

Yeah, because voice control has no flaws.

Not at all. I'm not even sure how I feel about it being on the controller.

You are just being silly.

Don't care if xbox can do that or better, for me it was cool.
