Obviously the perfect game blown call wasn't a big deal since you can't even remember the pitcher or team.
i could say the same about the Pirates fwiw
just watched it by the way. even if he did miss him with the swipe, you have to call out since he was 6 ft from the plate.

Not my team, but I remember how big it blew up on all the sports stations. The ump was just completely dejected, but I remember the pitcher came out and shook his hand at the beginning of the next game. Dude was still crying a little.

I agree. It shouldn't. But it happens all the time. Basketball games are the worst example of that.

The Saints better sign a fricking linebacker before I plow my face through a window.

Do you think we should keep Shanle?
Posted on 7/27/11 at 11:52 am to sicboy
I don't know...I wouldn't mind him in a platoon with a more athletic LB. But hell, they really need to upgrade. Bad. They really don't have anybody on the OLB positions.

I think what they're probably doing is contacting some of them, but they can't do anything until they release Reggie Bush tomorrow. That frees up over $12M against the cap this year.

release Reggie Bush

He already said he won't take less money to stay here, so I say don't let the door hit you in the vagina on the way out, pussy.

No shite. A club cannot rationalize paying an oft-injured decoy as much as Bush is paid.

I think Payton will miss him because he likes that threat on the field. But to be honest, Reggie hasn't been an offensive threat in a while. He's basically a slot receiver that lines up in the backfield.
There's nobody on the team that can do that this year, except maybe Lance Moore. I like Moore on the line, though. I see the Saints going with a power running game more with PT and Ingram, and PT will be a safety valve in obvious passing downs.

Can't wait til they release Reggie, opening up 12M and pull in a team that's NOT injury ridden.
I like Ingram, but I really hope he isn't accident prone like he was in college, cause if he is, I guess that's why the Saints got him?

This was a quote from the advocate today
quote:
Payton has said he wants him back and Bush also has said he’d like to remain in New Orleans, even acknowledging that he would be willing to agree to some type of pay cut or restructuring to stay.
