if he plays short or second, that technique will come in handy for turning two

if he's just starting in tee ball, i wouldn't press the issue too much right now. Basket catching in t-ball is pretty normal. I don't think there is much throwing baserunners out in t-ball unless it's changed from when we were young

Anyone know of any adult leagues? If I ever get back in shape, I'd like to find one to get into.

basketball?

there's one out here in Luling. It's played at the local highschool. The parish puts out this little magazine letting people know about different shite going on around town. I'm sure BR has something like that

I'd love to get back into it, but I doubt my schedule would allow it.

The only downtime I've ever had was when she's sleeping. Luckily, she goes to bed at 6:30 and can sleep for 12-14 hours.

same here

put her down at 7:30, don't even have to rock her, and sometimes i have to wake her up in the morning at 6:30....she never wakes up during the night

eta: she's never slept in the bed with us either.....it was hard to break my son of that, he still does it now and then

hopefully she won't grow into that

She slept in our room once, and that was her first night home. After that, we cut that shite out. She was sleeping all night at three weeks. And we're never letting her in our bed...she only is allowed in our room to tell momma bye in the mornings.

i also took my son's pacifier away on his 1st birthday and never looked back

i think it may be harder with my daughter, she only uses it to go to sleep mainly, but she seems more dependent than my son was

it may be tough

Thumbsucker FTW. Only when she's tired, though.

son's pacifier

he did himself in on this one. He threw it at the babysitters and they couldn't find it. From that moment on, we went with it everytime he would ask for it. After a day or so, he was done with it.

Same goes for breaking him of the bottle.

And he was potty trained within 2 days of trying. I think he did all that well b/c he's going to give us hell when trying to break him of sleeping in our bed
