ah ok. i saw they have the UN setting for upright neutral, but i didn't read the book about it. What's the difference between that and neutral?

No idea
I'm gonna download the guide because I didn't get one.
Any tips on how to teach my son to catch a baseball. It's frustrating as hell but I don't want to make it miserable for him.

If he gets hit in the face enough he'll learn to catch it on his own

does he show interest in wanting to learn how? I know i was pushing Brody to start hitting a baseball off this little tee that we bought him, but he had no desire to do so when i was trying to show him, so i stopped trying
Then all of a sudden, day before yesterday, he picked up the bat and started trying to hit it himself, and when he couldn't, he came get me

He keeps stepping back so I put his back against the fence. Now he steps to the side, looks like we're trying the corner of the fence next.

We aren't trying hitting yet but he has hit before with decent results.
He can thow pretty good but he steps with the wrong foot about half of the time.

I just checked my bag, I have that wrench

sounds like he wants to learn
i'd go with a tennis ball and have him throw it up on the roof and try to catch it when it comes down. It'll help him develop his hand/eye coordination and it'll be a fun little game to keep him trying.
By the time he starts catching it from the roof, you can get him to understand keeping his eye on the ball when someone is throwing it
