Is BF3 releasing new maps down the road? And will they be free, or $15 like COD? I know about Back to Kirkland's, but is that it? And was that level that good?

Back to Karkand is the pack, it's free with Limited Edition preorders ($15 without the preorder bonus). It's 4 redone maps from BF2, 10 extra weapons and three new vehicles.
The maps will be in a regular rotation with the BF3 maps and all weapons from B2K are usable in BF3 maps.

One new chopper, one new jet and I think a new jeep.
One of the weapons is the Famas...everything's listed if you Google. It comes out next month. No date yet.
