bro, red beans is about the easiest thing in the world to make
1 lb bag of beans
1 cup frozen seasoning blend
1-2 lbs sausage and/or ham/neckbone
water
salt/pepper
crockpot
set it and forget it
if you like em thick, you gotta mash up some of the beans about 30 minutes before you eat so the starch will thicken up the water
eta: the best thing is you can get all of the above for less than 10 bucks total and then eat on that shite for days
