Why don't more people coordinate laser-designation and the Javelin? One of my friends FINALLY leveled up to get the CITV in the tank and I have been annihilating everything with the guided shell.

Without playing with someone I know, I laser-designated vehicle is like a gift from above. One of the most under-utilized functions of the game, yet one of the most powerful. It's great watching the pilot/gunner of a helicopter both flare out and then still get taken down by the rocket

so how does the soflam work in terms of vicinity or how long it will stay locked, or how far way my tank can lock to it, etc.

anything that has been laser designated can be locked on from any distance even behind objects.

I think it automatically locks on to vehicles in whatever direction it is pointing at if you are not actively using it.
