So after my first night of BF3 I have to say that I really liked it.
There is definitely a big difference in BF than COD. I like the big maps but am going to have to learn them fast and the guns are going to take a little getting used to because there seems to be a little more jump in them.
The different controls had me a little off too. I played as assault class most but didn't know how to revive anyone. I finally figured out how to drop med kits though. Overall I sucked it up pretty good but hopefully that will change. I think that BF is probably going to be my go to game now and when I'm in the mood for run and gun I'll pop in MW3.

I think you have to unlock the defib. Burst fire your wepons.

I think I did, but don't know how to use it. It seems like I might have seen a "press select", but I'm not sure.

After you unlock it, you have to go into your kit customization and select it as your secondary equipment. It may do it automatically, though. Anyway, you take it out by pressing right on the DPad (or left, can't remember) and then press R1 to use it on a dead friendly.
There isn't much time to revive because after several seconds they just die. I usually give up on reviving after I see the skull and crossbones go away.

Oh okay, well that would be why I couldn't do anything. I'll have to change that.
There's a lot of things I have to get used to coming from cod. I like the vehicles though. I can't drive a tank for shite yet but I rode in the chopper with cool and shot down some helis. I never got a chance to fly a jet so we'll see how that one goes later but I did drive a jeep around a little. Blew myself up once when I tried to drive over a big rock, turned out it was an unmovable object.

Last night's lobby really wasn't the most fun to be in, either. The last two nights I feel like I've come across lobbies with a lot of people hiding in corners or sniping.

I know the last match I played in seemed like it took 30 minutes to play. I ran around and drove around and couldn't find anyone.
