I dont remember anything wrong with the M27 when I used it Tuesday. I felt the MG36 had more recoil and the PKP had a little less but still too much for my liking.

it might have something to do with certain attachment combinations causing more recoil

All I ever used with it was a foregrip, holo and laser. I even took the laser off...I wish it had a heavy barrel like in the beta.

does it not? when i had to setup my kits after the patch i noticed the M36 has a heavy barrel. i cannot remember if it did before the patch

They added a few attachments for various weapons.
M27 w/ reflex, laser, and foregrip was my go-to on Support. I may swap the laser out for the silencer since I don't gunfight at long distances.

Starting out 18-0 on that rush match had me feeling like a boss

I think the MG36 heavy barrel is new. M27 doesn't have a heavy barrel...it used to show that attachment on battlelog and it was grayed out saying you had to be a member of DICE or something.

If you are looking for little recoil in the engineer class, look at the SG553, it already had no recoil and got a recoil reduction. Second to last unlock in Co-op

I used to love the first fallback position on Metro, in the tunnels, where I could fall back and use the bipod and 3.4 scope on the SAW in that top tunnel. There was no way for them to get up into that tunnel behind you, so all you had to do was aim at the opening to the park. Easy way to upgrade your gun at least.

It has a slower rate of fire, so if you come face to face with someone, usually you are at a disadvantage. Its all about preference..I just rediscovered the A-91, its replaced the G36C for the foreseeable future

Watched a video on youtube and a guy was using the SG553 with a foregrip, heavy barrel, RDS..... I need to do co-op so I can get that gun! After the patch that thing is beastly.
