Yupppp….as I purchase another vintage gengar….and tell myself “last one”.

In January my collection was roughly $700 raw and those were just casual purchases. The collection is worth about $6k raw now. $5,000 of that $6,000 just this month alone…

Just need to get some grading done and I’ll be able to go after some of the heavy hitters I’m after. Or go broke and have to sell them all back.

These were my cards I had available at my first vending show about a month and an half ago.

While not a Pokemon guy, I've been playing OP and gotten into some of the collecting space. Not any huge amounts, but I've got about 60 slabs at this point.

Like I said, I like the way the slabs look. The PSA cards white and red often clashes with the cards appearance. TAG has the cleanest look imo. Grading is sketchy with all of the companies and for a personal collection it doesn't matter to me

Oh for sure, I've used and bought basically every grading company out there. For any nicer cards, I always go PSA. For the cheaper collection pieces, I go with the cheapest and fastest of the big 5

The stupid explosion is just on modern junk. Vintage stuff hasn't been hit nearly as bad

I haven't been able to do much but vintage, promo, and sealed are what I focus on. I know I have some pocket monster cards somewhere. I wonder if I have anything good

I signed up for the PSA membership. Narrowing down my 20 to send in. Still have some cards coming in the mail that may end up in the top 20 but as it stands...should be profit.

After these 20 ill have another 20 batch to send and then one more with my vintage stuff. Not in much of a rush with my vintage as they are mostly for my enjoyment. However, I have the baddies from Southern Islands set and that mew is just asking me to move it...if I move it then I am moving the others.

I love me some promos

I had so many of these staff promos back when. Back when running leagues actually meant something. I had to rebuy this one raw back in 2018 since the prices on them were getting crazy then.

These are the best modern promos Pokemon has done:

My favorite promos are the japanese gym challenge promos:

Some sexy cards. I’m with both of you…I love promos and have a hard on for reverse vintage.

Did the price on those legendary birds drop over the years? Feel like I saw its price around a show and it seemed low.

I know I’ve only been posting on tigerdroppings for a short time but I need so help….how do I post pictures from my phone? If I have to upload to some website and then post…I’m out.

I couldn’t score it. Was gone on the second day of the show.

Howeverrrr…while I was walking around I noticed a little gem I have been keeping my eye on and debating if I wanted to take the risk. Decided to bite and now I own one of these…

Not my pic but yeah I did the thing. Then turned around and found a raw English bubble mew that’s got a shot.

So I’m not entirely disappointed.

So many shoulda coulda wouldas in collecting that you just have to ignore it.

It's a shame Buyee has gone to shite. It was a gold mine for buying Japanese promos
