I have not even laid eyes on a physical copy of a game in years.

Digital. Nobody buys physical games anymore. Most "physical" games are just links to the download, anyway

If you have PlayStation 4 games you still play then disc.

We still play Rainbow 6 siege on occasion and it requires the disc even with the ps5 “upgrade”

The disc is also useful for movies, which streaming still doesn’t yet match.

I guess it is just a matter of preference. I prefer digital because you don't have to worry about going out to buy a game or order/wait for it to come in. You also don't have to store or keep track of the boxes/discs. I would say one positive is you could get used games for much less than having to buy them new or on sale from the PS store..

I like digital for the simple fact that I can download and go. I like being able to easily switch between games as well.

same. I bought digital and a 2 terabyte additional drive, never looked back. it's so much easier

If you had a big library of physical PS4 games that might be the biggest reason to get a disc drive at this point.

very true. streaming will never match physical audio or blu ray quality video. the compression is noticeable if you really know what you are looking at.
