Player claims Fallout 1st domain to protest Fallout 76's subscription

This is completely awesome but whoever did this is probably going to get sued.
As a staunch Fallout defender, I just can't do it anymore. Fallout 1st is a blatant slap in the face to loyal fans and an over the top money grab.
Maybe they'll feel the backlash like EA/Bioware did for the ending to Mass Effect 3 and listen to the fanbase. Probably not though.

This kills Fallout for me. I have no interest in this franchise anymore.

I have no problem playing their traditional Fallout and Elder Scrolls offerings. This online thing was way out of their comfort zone and they have bumbled it every step of the way. Which is crazy because ESO seems to be doing really well.

I don't mind 3 or New Vegas. I've lost interest in 4. Fallout just isn't meant to be an online game. They are killing it.

Well, they had a novel idea of taking out this mode from 4, which was going to be it's multiplayer, and making it standalone. And the idea sounded good and a lot of people were on board. But have fumbled it from beginning to end.

I have two theories. Either Todd Howard is trying to get funding for Elder Scrolls 6 or Zenimax is just pushing them to do all of this. They HAD to know this subscription based service was going to make a lot of people mad.

Yeah no. Skyrim sold stupid well for years and Fallout 4 was no slouch either.
Outside of some sort of ridiculous demands I can't think of, they would be stupid to make 76 a funding source for a follow up to one of the biggest games of all time.
