I’m a stickler in that I will only pick a team that actually has a new coach or at least a new GM. Sometimes I sim year 1 so I can do a full offseason.

Can’t decide who to roll with. Cardinals are probably the best pick but I don’t like being in division against the 49ers. Bucs and Jets are possibilities. After aiming year 1 could go with Falcons but they have no cap flexibility at all. Lions also an option.

Sell me on someone

Moved the Bucs to Houston, to bring back the Oilers.

I'm in year 4. Year 1 I traded away key players to start rebuilding and went 1-15.

Year two went 11-6, which won the division. Lost in the first round.

Year three I went 13-3 and lost in the conference championship.

I'm currently 9-1 in year four. My rebuild is complete. Now just need to win the whole damn thing.

Dolphins have a bunch of 1st round picks and a ton of cap space. And Tom Brady will be retiring soon, so it weakens the main divisional competition.

I would love to do the dolphins, but after the trades madden doesn’t swap over picks. So it’s basically starting a franchise without any good players to trade and no extra draft picks

What do you mean? They do carry over real life trades?

Good way to rebuild is to sign free agents and trade them away for any and everything. Accumulate 12-15 picks. Get 8-10 guys in the draft you want and then trade all your late picks away for more picks the following year. I turned 2 7th rounders into a 1st and 3rd 4 drafts later by doing that.
