still playing on the First Look.
got my first hole in one on PGA 2k25! on the 16th of TPC Scottsdale. Finished 10 under. (just the back 9)

Ive tried them both and it just feels right for me with a PS5 controller (playing on PC). If i am using mouse then swing stick isnt bad but its not as comfortable of a gaming experience. I would rather lean back in chair

i gotcha. makes sense. it is nice to have a game i can get a few holes in, pause it, and pick it up play later. but relaxing regardless.

Yep, I'm on the Korn Ferry tour and I won the second week and missed the cut in week 3, I'm not very consistent

Last Saturday i cut the PGA event on tv and just chilled drinking coffee and playing a few events while i watched.
Its nice to have a game that doesnt require your undivided full attention for hours on end to enjoy

got in my first MyCareer game this morning with the full game on Q school. Sitting at 70 overall. Shot -12 on Amateur. Competition set to Amateur as well. Next best player on the leaderboard shot 2 under.
Upping everything to Pro. Beautiful, relaxing, and fun tho. Just have to find the sweet spot that challenges me but doesn’t make me want to rage.

Got my cpu opponent scoring difficulty set at 79% under custom settings. Pro was 80%, pro am was 75%.
Master was surprisingly only 85% so i guess 1 pt makes a pretty big diff

Just shot top 50 on the ranked daily pro tour. Im sure ill end up like 500th after everyone else plays tomorrow but 14 under felt good. Course was super easy tho
I missed a 4 footer that wouldve put me 15 under right after i drove the green on the par 4 and tapped in for eagle

Another word to the wise im not sure many people know about. If you have a daily quest to complete 2 rounds you can go to matchmaking and hit divot derby and beat the first hole then lose ans it counts as an entire round.
My powerhouse is only a level 75 so i did that rather than playing 2 entire 9 hole rounds. Finished the quest in under 5 minutes

what difficulty is everyone playing on?
I’m still struggling to find that happy medium difficulty wise. I’m a new PGA 2k Tour player, lvl 72, just joined the Tour. I should be struggling to make the cuts in tourneys at this point.

I’ve turned off all the pro-vision stuff, too arcade like. I’ve turned off pro vision wind and elevation. I want to have to factor that into my shots. Vibration off.

I've been doin the daily tourneys on master and pro, actually shot -9 on master yesterday and only -8 on pro
For cpu i feel like master they shoot too low of scores, there are custom difficulties where u can edit their level between pro and master. Ive been bumping it up and down a point at a time to try to find the right level. Think its on 82% right now, with pro being 80 and master being 85

Life got in the way - might download tonight . How is everyone still liking this? I have 2k23 and then EA PGA from Gamepass. I always liked the online options in 2k

no but TGCTours is coming later this month.
I've been having fun on the ranked tours on the game because despite it being impossible to break the top 50 you do get merit points for finishing in the top 50%, 25%, or something like that.
make sure you make your first character either a technician, magician, or sculptor.
try to level up swing path and contact to at least ~70 because the joystick is pretty unforgiving up to that point

it's really really good. just feels fun to play honestly with the revamped swing system.
