re: PGA 2K Society on XBOX - Golf Club for Degenerates Season 2 is ending. S3 on the horizon.

Shot +9 on two fricking holes and finish +4. Bout to throw my console out the front door!

Last i checked we are at 25 members. If we can somehow gain 5 more I'd be able to increase the field for the 2nd playoff round. Anybody know anybody else?

Was -4 at 13, proceeded to go +5 on the last 5 holes.

For those not in the GroupMe chat, season 2 will be ending in the next 24 hours and I will begin created S3 tomorrow evening. Here is the link for the GroupMe where a lot of the conversations are had now instead of on here. GroupMe - Degenerates. I would suggest joining. If you don't want all the notifications, turn them off.

A few things that will change in S3:

-no more easy courses. hoping more difficult play will narrow the competition, but understand it could be tough on players not as good. I am one of those, so i feel your pain

-no more single rounds. 2 to 3 round tournaments now. May bump Majors up to 4 rounds.

-add a couple Par 3 tournaments

-lower buy in fees. top 5 winners were still losing money due to high buy ins and lower spreading of the winnings. i should have enough in the society bank to cover S3 winnings but may need help with donations later on.

-may include a couple tournaments that account for handicap to see what that does for the competition. these tournaments will be "regular" tournaments to lessen the value they have on the standings.

I will post screenshots of the winners tomorrow evening. Again, for those not in the GroupMe come on in! Hoping we can keep this society going for a while since we have a good active group.
