This game gave me a deadline to find a treasure/steal this coach's heart. I make it to the treasure on the deadline day and am told to leave a calling card. OK, so I am down to do that, but want to fight this fricker before the deadline is over. If I leave the palace, I get a cut scene where I get murdered. If I stay in the palace after finding the treasure, the game won't let me fight him. Am I fricked?

You aren’t within the deadline.

You have to get to the treasure and beat the boss to steal it.

That has to be done within the deadline.

If you are going to fight the boss on the last day, you have to send the calling card on the 2nd to last day.

I try to finish them as quickly as possible so I can use the rest of the time before the deadline to do stuff outside the palace, like confidant levels.

The game beats you over the head that you have to have at least have 1 extra day to fight the boss

God damn boy you retarded

Persona 5 is truly a great game tho. I despise turn based combat yet thoroughly enjoyed the game

It should spit you back out far enough back to accomplish all of the goals you need so that you can continue.

Persona 5 didn't hook me like 4 did, but I may return to it.

Those were my gamgam's dying words.

It might have, but my problem with this game (and others) is that I'll play for ~5 hours on one day, ~4 hours a few days later, then not play at all for another month. I may have timed the month long break at the wrong time.

I can restart a week before. Hopefully I have a save 2 or 3 days before the deadline that I can hit up.

Do it. I'm still learning a lot (obviously), but it's a beautiful game.

I'm only on the first dungeon, but it seems like it's better to do the opposite. Getting to the end of the first dungeon wasn't easy. Definitely needed as much time as possible to improve stats + buy as many HP/SP "potions" as possible.

No sir. You can get to the very last safe room in the dungeon on night one or two and then leave do all the stat building and confidant work.

I learned this after the first temple as well.

I guess it depends on how easy it is to get that deep into the dungeon. I didn't have any trouble until I got close to the treasure. The last 3-4 rooms before the treasure had battles that were either super easy (using the cat to shoot 3 enemies in a row) or pretty tough fights against the cavalry knight things that ate up supplies.

Do none of your characters have heal? I rarely used items in my play through.
