Interested to see if I like games like this on console. For some reason I keep thinking I just want these on vita.

Don't think it'll take that long. Atlus has been getting better at their JP -> US release delays. I'd be very surprised if it's 2017. They likely want to delay it a bit past FF15.

I agree with this, but I'm still really excited. If P5 released on vita only it may be able to revive the Vita lol

I would normally think that no way Persona 5 shows on Vita, but considering they're releasing this on PS3 too, there's always a chance I guess.

I never played 4, but i guess it is considered one of the best rpg or best games ever. My question would be, why the hell wait so long to release another?
Persona 4 was on playstation 2. Youd figure with the type of success it had, they would have released another sooner. Doesnt have to be every year, but you skipped a whole console.

Atlus is a small developer that has a lot of side entries and collaborations. They did make Persona 4 Arena, while a fighting game is a direct sequel, for PS3.
I'm just happy that it's releasing at all.

yeah I didnt really realize that was the same series/company. Im trying to venture out into more jrpg other than final fantasy. Im really looking foward to tokyo mirage sessions on wii u. Which is an atlus game.

It's not quite a normal Atlus title, so I'm expecting a much higher quality level from Persona 5. Looking forward to both.
If you have a Vita, you could also play Persona 4 Golden. Another reason why Persona wasn't made faster, they made Catherine for PS3/360 after Persona 4.

I actually liked Catherine and found it to be a pretty interesting game.
Looking forward to this. Will probably pick it up on release day.

lol. Not too far off. The series got into the direction of super stylized effects and art. Some of it looks pretty crowded, but I appreciate the creativity and effort that went into the small things.
