Does Ikea ship?

I checked on some of their desks a while back, and they charge $99 for freight truck delivery, whether you order 1 desk or 5 desks, so having a single $50 desk delivered would cost you $150 unfortunately.

I got the $20 on shipped to me and shipping was only like $15.

The 78" on is expensive to ship

I go to Houston from time to time and always think about going there, but I usually only have time for there or Microcenter. Microcenter always wins.

I've waited to long to get a desk but my move messed everything up. It's so uncomfortable when playing games on m/kb

I think I'm going to wait after a few more paychecks to place the order. I already have enough but I like to always have a considerable amount more than my expenses if it's a decently large purchase.

I can't wait to get this desktop. I'm looking forward to finally being able to play all PC games.

Is Gsync a big deal not to have? I don't want to buy AMD and regret it because of tearing, etc.

Just wait for DisplayPort 1.2a and grab one of those monitors and use any GPU you damn well please. VESA incorporated Adaptive-Sync in DisplayPort 1.2a
LINK

And if you're grabbing a 1440p Korean panel, you won't have Gsync anway. Requires specific hardware in the monitor.

Wonder if they will be cheaper than those ridiculous ASUS monitors. Looks like I'm in for a wait

I dunno. Last I checked it'll be late this year or early next year before we see any monitors with it. Hopefully some affordable 4k monitors will have it.

He drives a Beamer?

Jesus, and I bet Wendell makes less money. That's a shame.

Old enough that if he falls and breaks his hip it isn't to be taken lightly. Could spell the end of him.

Gaming laptop for nephew. Just really for minecraft and maybe a few other games like that. Is it worth building for that or just buy?

Building a laptop is not nearly as practical as a desktop. Really, it's not practical at all.

If it has to be a laptop, just grab a Lenovo, ASUS, or MSI, depending on your budget (what is your budget?). Minecraft doesn't require a lot. Probably playable with Intel HD 4000.
