I re-installed my OS, how do I get Steam to recognize my games again?

Would anyone be interested in a BNIB 4930k? My buddy got one for his build, but he decided against it but he passed the return date

Problem with me is that I need an all-in-one (copy/scan, not necessarily fax) with auto-feeder for work purposes, but lack the justification to spend the money for a truly good color laser multi-function printer. I've been using this HP Officejet pro 8500a for years, but my printing requirements are sporadic. I can go many many months without needing to print, then suddenly need to print daily for several weeks straight, or do a high volume in one day.

Inkjets do not take kindly to this kind of irregular usage. Ink dries up, printheads get clogged, and they demand the most attention on the days when you need them to just print. My usage is really more suited to laser printers, which can go years without attention and work like they should the minute you need them. Their consumable internals are much more expensive, but they last longer and their wear-and-tear is based more on quantity of tasks rather than arbitrarily based on time elapsed.

So anyways, yesterday my wife needed a bunch of labels, information sheets, and business cards printed for her side apothecary business. Designed some cards and labels, fired up the officejet pro, and sent a few business card sheets through. The first couple were fine, then the black started to disappear in subsequent pages. After wasting more ink and cleaning/aligning shite and googling, I determined I needed a new $65 Black/Yellow printhead cartridge (another consumable that exists solely for the business model). Couldn't get one that day, so I went to Walmart to buy a cheap <$50 printer that I intended to return. Instead, I walked out of there with a $200 Samsung color laser multi-function printer, intending to keep it if it was even half decent (considering the price).

First few regular sheets of plain paper came out great. Then I tried the labels (which are rated for laser printers), and the alignment was off. Everything it printed was shifted 1/16 of an inch up and to the right, except when it didn't. It was inconsistent, but I eventually got the labels printed after calibrating and re-calibrating the templates and wasting a lot of sheets. Could never figure out how to fix it. Alignment was off regardless of paper quality and type settings. Then came the business cards. Instant paper jam. Managed to get 2 out of every 5 sheets through the printer, and none of them were aligned correctly, even when I calibrated and compensated in the template. Probably because the printer just couldn't consistently handle the card stock, even when it managed to feed without an error.

So, back to Walmart that piece of shite goes. I mean, really it's not a piece of shite, so long as you only want to print on normal paper and precise alignment isn't important. The quality was excellent. Just doesn't work for what I need to do.

But then this morning, I plug the Officejet back in, and it's printing fine. For now.

It's a shame that paper printing technology has reached its peak, and it's still so very shitty -- mostly because there is zero money in printer technology, just in the supplies. And I guess somewhat because nobody but businesses and students really print anything anymore. All we get now is wifi and useless built-in bloatware, and the ever-expanding technology to ensure you get the shittiest of experiences if you dare try to refill your ink or use non-genuine cartridges.

I'm running paranoid android + a custom kernal. Undervolted the cpu by -50mv. I get 36 hours of battery life out of it. fricking insane, and it's still fast as frick. I can overclock the CPU and GPU with the custom kernal, but there's really no reason to do it.
