Yeah, GK104-400 but with faster memory

7870 already maxed most games so I have barely noticed.

You get the PhysX. Don't tell me this didn't make Borderlands feel like a different game.

It created some frame drops during too much action so I turned it off

Have any of you guys considered the nVidia Shield?
Compared to the Vita it kills it.
Both come with a 5in screen but the shield is 1280x720 and Vita 9XXx5xx, not even 720 Vita? Also both do LAN and WAN now, the Shield can access your huge Steam library while the Vita is limited by that little tiny console BS.
I was going to wait until the Shield 2 is released but think i'm picking up a 2nd hand Shield off eBay for 150 or so...

What the shield needs is the ability to download your steam games to it. Then it would be a lot more attractive. However that isn't as easy as it sounds.
By the way I found using my 4.1 OC on my 3570k helped a lot with watch dogs frame drops.

ILikeLSUToo,
This may not be the place for it but I wanted to get your advise since you had this mobo and processor before and had it cranked up.
The motherboard and processor I bought from you are working great. The computer is running FSX with great frame rates. I decided to move forward and overclock and have been reading up it and found a video on YouTube with the same motherboard and processor to use as a reference. I tried to overclock this past weekend and apparently didn't do something right because when I ran the stress test it got too hot so I shut it down and returned all the settings back to the normal setting.
So now that I am back to square one how should I go about doing this correctly. I am at work now so I don't have the values I used but wanted to see if you had anything you help with as far as where to start. I have read multiple websites about this but don't want to do it wrong and end up having to buy new parts. Thanks

What cooler are you using?
What were your overclock settings in the bios? (everything you changed)
What temperatures were you seeing, and what stress test were you running?
I was able to get that chip to 24/7 safe overclock of 4.8 at 1.46v, but it was under water.

I will have to go back and get that info when I get home. I'll get back to you on it.
I do know the cooler is the cooler master hyper 212 evo

Sorry for dropping out on you bruf

Yes, I used what ILikeLSUToo gave me.

I don't even remember sending thermal paste. What did I send?
Depending on what you report with temps and overclock settings, we might need to discuss the mounting of the cooler and application of thermal paste. You should be able to hit 4.5GHz easy without throttling/shutdowns, even if you have to put 1.3+ vcore on it.

yeah, I get 4.5 out of mine on air no problem. Even at 4.7 I can run it with temps in the low 70s while gaming.

For games using 4 cores and you don't have any virtual cores, you should OC to 4.3. The added IPC should help you out.
What are your frames with the 3570K/770 in Watch_Dogs?
I can lock 60fps with everything on high, but AA has to stay to low on SMAA. If not my little 3GB cards with start to hit the cap. I'm staying around 2.95 during the day and 2.85 at night in Watch_Dogs. Its really upsetting because no game comes close to this, unless I run mods.
Now about the game Watch_Dogs, it is fun at times and im interested in the story but, they BREAK UP your interest making you jump all over the city while doing the same shtt. The game is about going to each outpost(FC3) and repeating the process of killing for the most part.
I would love the game and probably already be finished if it wasn't for the breaks in combat/campaign. Only on Act III / 2 right now.
EDT:
Gardoki I got a nVidia Shield off eBay for $118. Excited to try this thing out, really interested how it does outside my LAN.
