Install Windows 7 help
son of a bitch.

So, I am a bit baffled today. I got a new SSD a while back and finally had time to install Windows 7 on to it. I figured I would just unhook my old hard drive and plug in the solid state, then install windows 7. Did all that and it was great windows installed fine and booted up nicely. However, I couldn't hook up my second monitor and the internet would not connect. ( I am hard wired) The screen resolution was way out of wack and seemed odd. So, I then plugged my hard drive back in thinking this would do the trick. As soon as I plugged it in, it blue screened me and forced me to restart. But, still booted to the ssd with nothing installed. I unpluged the SSD and booted off my hard drive and its all fine. My questions are why won't it boot both my monitors and all my stuff from my hard drive when i try to boot off my ssd?
son of a bitch.

Would be cool to do, get a pair of 10 gigabit nics and be balling out of control.

I have a few 1Gig NICs. Think I'm good with that.
My AC66U gives me trouble and lags out at times when backing up computers to my HS via LAN. I'm starting to get a little pissed about the performance of that thing vs the price paid. About 2-3months ago I had to add 2 repeaters/range extenders to our WiFi so it reaches the whole property. I walked off the range from my AC66U and its about 150ft shy of its factory range, the damn repeaters actually send the signal further out from their source.

That's pretty awesome. Which ones are they?
About 5 years ago I had 2 wrt54g linksys routers flashed with DD-WRT as repeaters...I lived in an apartment and didn't want to pay for internet, people may have wifi passwords but they usually leave their router logins as default.

We have 2 of those, both refurbs just like that but I caught them on sale fro $49 instead of $69. My computer room is in the middle at the very front of our house, so set 1 up in the far most right and left back corners of our home. This worked out perfect since 1 is in our Master Bedroom and the other tucked away inside a cabinet in our dining room. We get really good full WiFi coverage on almost the whole property except the far edge of our backyard, the repeaters only push 3bars there and not 4 full bars.

Initial reports said at Computex 2014 a 4790k hit 5.5GHz on air, but other reviews from sites with engineering samples are reporting more disappointing results. I guess we won't really know until next month when enough people have had time to mess with the retail chips.
I'm skeptical about consistent 5GHz overclocking on these though. It's still a 4770K with better TIM and a few additional power delivery modifications. They'll certainly overclock better on air, but anyone with water will get the same results and similar voltage walls.

yeah, the guys from pcper said the most they got out of theirs was 4.7@1.38v. They didn't comment on the temps or what was holding it back though.

Yeah, not what I read in the Devil's Canyon thread on OCN. A lot of ppl are getting terrible results. I will pick up a DC chip, but it will be one of those unlocked Pentinums.

Pipe wrench on a knob lock works great but I have to drill deadbolts out and that takes too long. Plus we get work in the hood and they have all those iron gates everywhere which are a bitch to drill out. I can rekey locks too but I need to be able to spin them to do so. Doing this and training my guys on it will make me more money because I get paid the same if I install a new lock or just rekey the old one.
