No you sent me those Cooler Master Excaliburs which I used in my desktop. I bought these Corsair ones and never opened them for some reason.
It is. Just bought it two weeks ago.
Thanks
I wasn't really sure. I guess I will sell these extra ones then. I think I grabbed them because they were really cheap on sale.

They are decent fans, my old Titan build used them but I since switched to a much quieter fan, NB eLoops.

Those RAM modules you're selling, is one set the same ones I sold you that didn't seem to play nicely together across channels?

Yep
I need to swap the covers on them so they will match

I need a new laptop that I can use for gaming. Looking in the 800 - 1000 dollar range.
Can I get some recommendations?
Primary game is Archeage, but unfortunately no required specs out for it yet. It seems like it's pretty graphic intensive though

1400 could get you a good MSI gaming laptop with a GTX 870M inside. You could run a lot of titles with those 1366 CUDA cores.

Not worth it in my situation.
Moving and will be without my desktop for about a month.
Need a new laptop anyways so if I was able to find what I want at a reasonable price, might as well.
At more than a grand with the lack of use though it just doesn't make sense.
Appreciate the input though

Yeah I was just looking at those. ASUS ROG laptops are similarly priced with identical specs, but heavier.
$1279 ASUS: LINK
i7-4700HQ
12GB DDR3 1600
GTX 860M 2GB
1TB shitty 5400 RPM hard drive
802.11ac
3.5 hour battery life
9.9 pounds
Screen size: 17.3 inches
$1299 MSI: LINK
i7-4700HQ
12GB DDR3 1600
GTX 860M 2GB
1TB 7200 RPM hard drive
802.11ac
6 pounds
Screen size: 17.3 inches
Differences in bold.
Can't find definitive info on the MSI's battery life, but I would expect it to be similar to the ASUS. Battery life is going to be shorter than advertised on both anyway, and it doesn't matter since gaming on battery is not really practical; you'll have about 20 minutes of battery once the CPU and GPU ramp up.

This is my personal favorite just because of the extra 250+ cores.
Basically a GTX 760(1152) vs GTX 670(1355?) on the gaming side. For $1400 you have a whole lot of GPU power with more VRAM to play your Watch_Dogs.
If you don't want to spend the extra $100, that MSI posted above is nice. You will want the 7200RPM HDD and less weight is nice.

I think the MSI supports some additional msata SSDs as well. The ASUS likely supports a standard 2.5" SSD in addition to the HDD, as it looks similar to my G72JH.
EDIT: If I were buying a new gaming laptop, I'd put in the extra $100 for the better GPU and CPU. Only drawback is the RAM downgrade, but it's not important. Oddly, the MSI I linked has a 8GB and 4GB module occupying the two DIMM slots.
Some cheaper options:
Lenovo IdeaPad Y510p for $1048: LINK
Has SLI 755Ms, which will perform about the same as an 860M if the game supports SLI.
i7-4700MQ
8GB DDR3 1600
shitty 5400rpm drive
Or spend another $44 and get this MSI with the 860M: LINK
i5-4200H
8GB DDR3 1600
shitty 5400rpm drive
Spend less than that and you don't really have much of a "gaming" laptop; if you figure an 860M might perform like a 750 Ti, that's pretty much minimum.

You have a SB or IB?
I want a damn gaming laptop so bad, but i'm too much of a MBP fan to spend those funds on something else in the portable world.
Now if I wouldn't come home every night and traveled, no doubt a MSI/ASUS/iBuyPower gaming notebook would be purchased.

In my ASUS? Neither. Clarksfield! 720QM. With a Mobility HD 5870. I've had this thing since late 09/10. It was basically the best of its time as far as mobile GPUs. Performed about on the level of a desktop 5770. I still use it, but not for gaming. I'll never buy another gaming laptop, unless work starts requiring frequent travel again.

Why didn't anyone tell me you can create and sell gun skins in CS:GO?
Just saw where some sell for tons of money.

Yeah but those are retarded rare. Would waste money earning the skin than selling.

Not that but I want to make some to put on the marketplace. Maybe I will luck up and make something that people like.
Need ideas though....
