The 290 is a XFX Reference I purchased around launch during the mining craze, so paid $500 for it. Never really used it except mining a few weeks.
Model purchased is said to be unlockable per a few OCN lists but I wasn't able to unlock.

Anyone try Lifeless Planet?

OK
I am working a deal on buying a whole set up with a 4670K and 770 right now. If it falls through I will let you know
I also think I am going to buy another BGA rework station. I sold that other one I had to upgrade but have been so busy I haven't had time to so I couldn't justify ordering a new one. My weekends are pretty free now that I have more people working for me so I either want another rework station or 3D printer.
Thoughts?

I don't see the point or coolness in 3D Printing. Usually im the firs to purchase any new tech, but it just isnt there for me yet.
I'm not into printing 100 items to piece together and make something useless.
Do you have an awesome HTPC/SteamBox? Besides my traditional desktop setup I love having a top of the line HTPC/SteamBox that can play anything.
You already have a WiiU, idk what else can get much better than that!

Yea. I have this. It's what I am using while I sell my desktop and decide what to build next.

Oh nice! Almost the same as my WC'd Node. 4670K/290 but selling for a 295x2. At just 1080, it maxes out anything and I enjoy playing on a controller. Obviously I leave my FPS/MMO/ARPG/MOBAs for the desktop but more and more games are made around controllers such as Watch_Dogs.

I almost wish I could WC in that case I have. I really like the case and I probably could WC somehow but I don't want the headache of it in such a small arse case.

You could WC in that case, just purchase the right size RADs and Res/Pump combo.
You would do good using a 2x80mm RAD setup probably.
EDT: iTX and WC'ing iTX builds are a ton of fun compared to full size systems. I guess the reward of success in such conditions makes it fun.

I already have the H80 for the CPU and that 290 isn't as loud as I thought it would be. I am OK with it for now.
I might scrap that whole build eventually anyway.
ETA: Speaking of that H80...I have two SP120 fans laying around. Are they any better than the Corsair fans that come on the H80 or are they pretty much the same fans? I think they are the quiet version of the SP120s.

Reference?
IDK, I have to WC any gaming system, hate hearing a fan roll 2000 RPMs.

See my edited question in my previous post about that H80

Did I send you those SP120s? If yes, then yes they are Quiet Editions and NO they are not any better than your stock Corsair H80 fans(if it is the NEW H80 version).
The QEs roll at 1200 and PEs roll at 1800-2200. The PEs are much louder but can really out perform the QEs.
