Dev, if you're considering an h100i talk to me. I'd sell you mine in a few weeks since I may be going to a custom loop

Okay. That's the route I'm headed, so we'll talk whenever you're ready to sell.

Didn't Tom just do his whole build based on getting a gsync monitor up the road?

No, the build was not centered on G-sync. Even if you think I'm the most ignorant person alive when it comes to computer builds you have to assume that even I wouldn't create an entire build based on a freaking monitor.

I just need to upgrade my monitor and figured I'd wait until G-sync came out. But after reading that article it looks like that might not be necessary.

That's cool as shite. I was seriously considering trying an SLI NVidia setup for several reasons, one of them being G-sync, but now I may not. I can keep my 7970s until a single GPU outperforms them (will be a while). Pirate Islands next year!

I was thinking, "Oh, here we go again with the shite-talking."

But nope, that didn't happen!

Haha, thanks for the props.

I'm still figuring out the NZXT Hue system. I like the blue, but might shift it to a bit of a lighter, crisper blue. But I definitely like the blue. I think it's going to double as a sleep aid at night.

haha Mine is all blue too, when it's actually lit up. I have blue LED strips on the back of my monitors that illuminates the wall behind them. That sort of low ambient lighting is supposed to reduce the amount of stress that you're eyes are under while gaming or just staring at the monitor for an extended period of time. I don't know if it works, but I like it. Shake the haters.

Yeah, I went with blue because it seems like a nice calming color. I was going back and forth between blue and green, but even green is pretty energetic. Red or white would be too much.

That's a cool idea about putting LED strips behind your monitors, I've never thought of anything like that. You got any pics?
