Nah, just use the DVI cable that comes with the monitor you're buying. Plug it into the spare DVI port on your graphics card.
You can use HDMI too, if the monitor supports it. Just plug it into the HDMI port.
The AMD drivers will auto detect another monitor as soon as you turn it on.

Nope that's it. What do you mean? Like how to make one your primary(the games will play on)? Go into catalyst control center and go into Desktop Management. Choose Creating and Arranging Desktop. That will allow you to pick which on you want for your primary, and you can move them around.
Say you have your primary in the middle and your new monitor on your right. Just drag the secondary monitor(that's in the box)and place it to the right of your primary.
It's really really simple.

Best buy doesn't have the same one. Think i can go 23inch though and make that my primary then the smaller to play porn on while i game.

My dual monitor setup has always used two different monitors. I upgrade my main monitor and demote the old one to secondary monitor, and the old secondary monitor gets demoted to spare monitor, and the old spare monitor gets either sold or given away.
