I bet you can easily push that OC up to 4.6. I'm running almost the same setup as you except for my MB which is a Asus ROG Maximus Gen Z. Easy to OC, just one click in the BIOS and it optimizes and then checks for stability.

I don't know why, but I'm just underwhelmed by that board because of the price tag. There are z77 that are cheaper with similar/same features, and the debut chips for z87 are such an incremental improvement (unless heat dissipation is improved enough for significantly better overclocks).

I understand.. My issue is I never consider bang for your buck features.
Z87 really offers nothing more for us simple OCers. The improvement will come from the LN2 guys.

So I have been browsing around the net for used PC parts and broken shite to mess with when I get my rework station in. Yesterday on Craigslist I saw this ad...
I have been in a bad mood for personal reasons and I also hate to see someone spend $1000 on that used POS so I made an ad of my own.
I forgot I had even put it because it was late and I was liuttle buzzed when I did it last night. I just checked my junk e-mail account I used for it and I have had 2 people e-mail me today about it...lol.
I guess I need to delete the ad.

Hey man. Thought I was going to put my PC back together today but I had to run to my grandparents. My grandfather is very ill. I went to see him and spent all day up there. I am about to clean up then try to throw it together real quick.

I look at it as being a hero to keep people that don't know any better from spending $1000 on that POS. I am obviously not going to build anyone a system but at least it will maybe get people looking around and realize what a rip off that is.

People get too proud of their hardware, think that it retains more value just because they spent time building their PC, or they took good care of it. I see it a lot with individuals trying to sell used cars, too. Asking for well over dealer blue book because they put rims and a few tinker mods here and there. I probably would've done the same thing, and maybe even built one for somebody.

Man, this sucks.
He had it set to auto bid to $10 and the first bid gets priority. I haven't really used the actual auction part of Ebay in years but I thought you had to beat the bid by at least .01? That's what I get for trying to snipe it in the last 10 seconds instead of bidding normally I guess.
