I always put in an arbitrary cent amount because everyone sets their max at xx.00 or xx.50
I like putting in 10.31 or something like that. what were you bidding on?

MOBO with bent pins. I have bought 4 so far and have an order of 12 1155 replacement sockets coming in from China next week hopefully. My machine will be here next week as well.

I am starting with 1155 because I bought a cheap CPU to test them out with when I am finished.

that's what I was hoping. I hope it works. Whats involved in changing sockets? Requires a lot of trail and error huh?

Precision is the biggest factor from what I have read and watched. The new sockets I ordered already come with the ball solder on them so it's just a matter of cleaning the old area off once you get the socket off and lining the new one up properly before you heat it up.

Other things, like an Borken Xbox, would require you to remove the CPU and reball it yourself. I will get into that eventually as well.

That's why I bought boards to practice on.

What I don't understand about that vid is why Intel is using air to heat instead of infrared. Heat is a lot less precise and can loosen up other components you don't want loosened.

Are two Nvidia 750m GPU's enough to run pretty much anything on a laptop? Was looking to get the Lenovo Y500 because it seems pretty beastly, just don't know much about laptops.

Is the 750m released yet?

Based on previous generation I would expect it to be able to play anything though, just not everything on max settings.

Breathtaking monitor. $5 built-in speakers.

Why does ASUS have to put those shitty speakers in all their monitors? They make great monitors. They should save the $5 used to add those speakers that most people don't even bother with.

I've got 3 7870's right now and my MOBO can support them but I don't have enough room in the case for 3 because it's a mid tower and the bottom card would hit my PSU and I need some more PCIE cables for my PSU because I hate those molex adapters.

Oh well, I am going to sell all 3 of them and get something...what exactly I don't know.

That's awesome that they all work. You need a bigger case.

Oh yeah, I can't wait to overclock it. I wish they made a full cover waterblock for it but oh well. Anyone of you guys have any experience with the swiftech universal waterblocks? I know I would need heat sinks for the ram and mosfets.

Don't worry, Coyote, no one is going to out benchmark you here. Your e-peen is safe for now.

I only have one hooked up right now anyway.

Lol

No I'm saying the tearing with 7950s was noticeable. Just wondering how bad 3 o them would be.
