So I have a macbook pro 13 inch and I want to download windows 7 using bootcamp.

I do not have the startup CD and I have access to windows 7 by downloading it from Tigerware on the LSU moodle website.

If this is possible..

Can anyone help me out with the steps I need to follow to safely and properly instal windows 7 using bootcamp and the resources I have?

If this is not possible..

Can anyone help me out by giving my the steps I need to do this properly?

Go buy a cheap 4gb USB or those 4-8gb burnable CDs and download windows iso on that, then go through boot camp. It was pretty easy when I did it for a friend

Do like blue said.. DL Windows 7 ISO, burn to CD and install that way.

If one of the main reasons for installing W7 to play games, make sure the W7 partition has the largest share. It will ask you to allocate the free space in boot camp.

Why do I keep buying games I will never get to?

I have a backlog of over 100 now and I can't stop buying shite during these sales because they are so cheap.

Same here. There are games I'll probably never even install, let alone play.

Yea, the Steam sales seem to suck now (which they don't) it is just we have everything already.

I do think already owning a lot has something to do with it but I remember more aaa titles last year. I also think the flash sales were every 4 hours but I may be wrong on that.

You're probably right. We bought into the AAA titles early or they didn't have many releases this year, unsure.

It also wasn't a big year for pc games imo. Some of they bigger releases were on other devices like last of us, gtav, link between worlds. Ac4 was pc but most people get it on u play.

It was actually one of the biggest years PC has had as a gaming platform. Tons of people switching to the Master Race and tons of Devs have no choice but to take notice.

I agree but I'm just referring to AAA releases on pc specifically

I can't think of that many AAA games that really matter that were on console and not on PC outside of the two you mentioned.

Alright so, who wants to give me a Christmas present and "build" me a PC for $500 or less (minus the tower) that can run DayZ and stream at a decent quality. I'll be using the case I posted back on page 580 (but quoted here just in case).

quote:

Manufacturer Rosewill
Part # REDBONE U3
Type ATX Mid Tower
Color Black/Red
Power Supply None
External 3.5" Bays 1
External 5.25" Bays 3
Internal 3.5" Bays 6
Motherboard Compatibility ATX, Micro ATX
Front Panel USB 3.0 Ports Yes
Dimensions (L x W x D) 19.25" x 7.25" x 16.40"

I just don't have the brains to know how many fans, or sticks of RAM, etc. I would need. So I was hoping someone had enough time and wanted to do the hard part for me

You're pushing it with $500 but the cheapest core components are the ones I posted which will get you a decent stream.

EDT:

CPU: AMD FX-8320 - $159
MOBO: MSI 970A-G43 - $69 ($59 after MIR)
GPU: MSI GTX 660 Ti 2GB $173
RAM: AVEXIR 8GB (2x4GB) 1.6Ghz - $62
PSU: SeaSonic S12II 620W - $69
