Hey Bruce.. I have everything setup in OBS with the exception of my mic. How do i know how long I need to delay the mic to match up with the gameplay?

I don't ever do that but there may be a difference due to you being on console and there being a little more input lag. Just experiment with it.

Alright.. so I set just the basic stuff up, and OBS is not so friendly to my stream. It was lagging really bad. It was almost like watching a stop motion film. What settings do I need to mess with?

Try to see if turning your CPU present down to super fast in the advanced tab helped.

That's where I started it at
what about the x264 encoding profile? Mine is currently set on high

I really don't know in your case. Probably leave it where it is. What twitch server are you using?

Have you tried other servers? I've read that some guys actually get better performance by switching to another server, even though the server they were on has better ping and jitter.

Nah, i haven't tried any other servers yet. Here are the screen captures of my setup:

Make sure that multithreaded optimization is checked. I really don't know. It looks good to me, but those pictures are small for some reason.

New Stream
I was trying to use another Hauppauge streaming program which was causing the stop motion looks. Using the standard Arcsoft Showbiz program that comes with the HD PVR 2, the stream looks good, but it freezes for about 3 seconds every so often..

It could just be latency issues. Since you're wireless right now, does your router have gigabit wifi? If it doesn't then that could be a major contributing factor.
Posted on 12/7/13 at 7:27 pm to brucevilanch
It has Gigabit wired, but the Router is designed to hold 300 Mbps for 2.4 GHz Wifi connections.

Yeah, hard wire it.
That's not going to handle real-time streaming very well.

I've been watching the OBS program and every once in a while it will pop up with an error saying "Warning taking too long to encode". Could that be the issue?

yeah, what system are you using for a source. I would advise "capture device", if it's present.
