This isn't true. The laptop probably takes up the same foot print/air space as an iTX build.
This. Doesn't have to be a "tower." It just needs to have a non-mobile CPU.

Also, I tripped a breaker today. The 15-amp circuit powers the master bedroom (except for the bathroom and ceiling fan/light), the living room lights, dining room lights, and front porch light. Seems weird.
The 280x just puts it a little over the edge.. since I'm also running a portable AC on that circuit.
Going to buy an extension cord to run my PC to the living room outlet (not as ghetto as it sounds. Living room outlet shares a wall with this bedroom and I already have cables running through the wall (router, HDMI to TV, etc).

I trip my breaker all the time. lol
Had a 15W for my computer room but it would trip if both my main rig and main spare rigs are own. Switched it out to a damn 20W and still fckking tripps. My interior breakers aren't cheap, they are $60 bucks a pop but I will need to install a 30W.

I would need a second monitor as well.

Why? Unless you want to monitor the stream.
Then use, a second monitor.

A literal and figurative boom.

Yea, I have to monitor the stream and be able to interact with my viewers whenever they are talking and what not. I need to find a way to get a desktop tower and monitor in that space, with the furniture I already have... I just have NO clue how I am going to do it.

Look at my post... You could build a tinyass machine and have a sick monitor (1500p), it's only 10", but its a great size for viewing your stream and interacting

Sit that is a boom.. not just a stick!

I've always wanted to try doing that... I just don't have any space right now. Whenever I get my new desk for xmas I may look in to it

Did you change the wire gauge to the receptacle as well? Seems like a job.

No, still just 12/2 in the walls. I seriously need to run 10/2 to my wall receptacles which my rigs pull from.
My Grandparents have a "do it all" person who does everything from clean deer to cut their grass. He is an old electritian and actually the one who changed my breakers. He is coming here to install an extra AC vent into my computer room next week. I'll have him check it out.

Where can I find decent desks in BR? I found a perfect desk at Ikea, but frick driving all the way to houston for it (shipping is $349
)
Edit: This is sort of the desk I was going to get, except I was going to change one of the drawers (Called the "Alex" Drawer Unit) out for their shelves with a door (Called "Alex Storage unit)

Office depot has 1... and I meann 1 good line of desks, everything else is crap. I like big solid, real wood desks and they sell them. Where I purchased mine from. Ordered and they deliver to your home. My Executive style cost maybe $800, can't remember.
I do want a more modern desk but that will cost around $2K. All Modern has some nice ones that I like.
EDT: Big, Solid, Wood

That ikea desk is basically exactly what I want. Something flat and long with drawers.
I like having lots of legroom under my desk, and I hate any sort of hutch or shite like that

I need a new one but that won't happen in this house so it will have to wait. I need a new chair bad.
