so my plan is to go to my BX tomorrow and snap some pictures of the laptops they have for sale and I will let the master race tell me which is the best one for me. Be prepared

Does it have to be a laptop? If all you want to use it for is an encoder to stream your PS4 gameplay, the CPU is most important, and you're going to pay a lot and get less for your money with a laptop.

Yea, it has to be a laptop. It's not the ONLY thing I want it to do, but I want it to be powerful enough to stream at a decent quality without it lagging like crazy when I do stream. I wouldn't mind having a laptop that is capable of being able to play a game like DayZ or something like that. Also, it would be my every day laptop so general web browsing and porn watching would be in order as well.
Edit: after reading your article, I wish I had the space in my game room for a desktop PC because it's obviously the way to go, but I just don't know where I would put a tower, mouse and keyboard comfortably. The only thing I have is a small 3 shelf TV stand, and I have my laptop sitting on a TV dinner stand

Encoding on a laptop? Even with 4C/8T the thing will throttle so badly it will perform like a dual core chip!

Yeah, some sort of dedicated box. Be it 83XX/3770/4770. Something which won't throttle down because of thermals.
Have you guys seen the 9570s on sale for the price of 8350s? Pretty goo getting an even better binned chip! Bruce and I proved that these chips are most likely binned pretty well. He could easily OC his 8350 higher than my 8320 with a lesser MOBO.

This isn't true. The laptop probably takes up the same foot print/air space as an iTX build.
