nothing else like it and comes with the psu and window. I think there's a market for it.

Blue it comes with a PSU... reason it is priced so high.

But it's only a 500w, so you're heavily limited. It lacks some features and cable management for a $190 itx case. You can get a nice 650-850w psu and a prodigy for the same price.

I may be interested in the razor block and rad! How much for those?
How about $50 for both? The rad is only $30 new at sidewinder. I paid close to $100 for the block back in the day. Only thing is, you'll need to put your own thermal pads or paste on it, and you'll need to get new screws for it. They are m3 x 6mm.

Yeah its a little on the high side. Wish the psu was modular (who needs 4 molex in a itx that only holds two HD). It certainly looks better than the prodigy and is a lot more compact. I don't think the psu is too low of wattage, especially if you are running haswell.

If you have something like a 7970 in there and a 4770k, then you'll be severly limited in the OCing abilities. It'll be even lower if you're WCing, which is what that case is for
Posted on 9/15/13 at 12:03 pm to bluebarracuda
are you talking about the hadron hydro, because the hadron air has zero internal WC support. Frankly I don't think I would care too much about OCing potential for a case the size of a shoebox
Posted on 9/15/13 at 12:08 pm to puffulufogous
Yeah, Hadron case size is not ideal for WC and the PSU isn't ideal for overclocking higher end hardware. Rule of thumb with PSU wattage is to calculate the minimum required to power your system and double it, since PSUs operate at peak efficiency when under 50% load.

Thought the hadron has 120mm or 240mm rad space? Anyway, free performance is aalways nice!
Edit: I was thinking of the caselabs Itx case for WCing

Yall need to enter EVGA's contest/drawing to win a Hadron build for 99 cents.

Comes with a 4770k, GTX 780, 8GB kingston hyperx, 120GB Kingston hyperx SSD, and a EVGA Z87 Stinger mITX mobo.

done did it. thanks for the heads up.
Ultimately I am just glad they are getting into the case game. I love that the hadron has sleek and simple looks of fractal equipment. Maybe this will push the market toward offering truly compact form factors that take advantage of how small itx really is.

Fractal, lian li, cooler master, etc all have great compact itx cases. I just wish they would have some with 240mm rad support

From now on I am not going to post about what I am building until it's built. Maybe this will keep others from rushing out and getting the exact same shite before I do.
I just want to have some different stuff than every swinging dick on this board is all. To me that's part of the fun. Sucks because now I am completely changing what components I was looking at.

It doesn't work that way. There are only a select few MOBOs in every form factor and everyone gets the latest i7/780/7970.
How you separate is case, cooling and layout. Everyone has the exact same hardware.

Yeah, what is holding the iTX form-factor back are cases. No "true" iTX form factors. Everything seems like mATX cases.

Sorry but not true. Not everyone has the same GPU, MOBO, and CPU set up. Unfortunately if I went ahead with my build as planned and posted last night then I would have the same exact MOBO, GPU, and CPU that you now have.

I understand. Having an identical setup kind of takes the fun out of it, but right now there are only a few logical best bang-for-buck options, and you're even more limited with the form factor.
I honestly don't see the appeal in the small form factor. Hell, I'd get this case if I had the room and the money:

what kind of douche has that sitting on his office desk?

He did get the lightning before anyone else talked about... but a majority of us here have a 8350 with 7950/7970. I think coyote Is the only one with a non-amd video card
