Nope. He has a lot going on anyway with school and football and my sister asked me to wait until they move and get settled into their new place and to also make sure he keeps his grades up this first quarter. It will be another month or so. In the meantime it has allowed me to upgrade some things for him here and there due to finding some better deals. I am excited to give it to him though and he has no idea how much I have added to it and he also doesn't know that I have bought him about 30 games for it so far.

Supposed to be here today though I am starting to regret not getting that SSD off of you now.

I bet you could easily unload the rest of it on r/hardwareswap. That's a good deal the CPU and it will go quick there.

Hey guys...I am thinking about buying this but I need to make sure my 7970 will push high FPS on it when BF4 drops.

Thoughts?

Someone really ought to jump on that. SSD owners are about to become the new master race.

I think it's like $50 off of what that same SSD is going for right now which is still a hell of a deal. SSDs are holding their value now and have been for a while. They were in a sort of freefall until they found a price consumers were comfortable with.

If I were smart, I would buy it and put my most played games on it to free some space up on my already full 1TB HDD. I only have like 30GBs left on my current SSD too.

I also need a 2TB HDD eventually.

you should just buy one the first time you see a sell, doesnt appear pricing on HDDs are going anywhere anytime soon. Significant fixed costs associated with building them.

on another note. uhh, this doesnt look like grand news: DirectX 11.2 Won't be Fully Supported by AMD Radeon HD 7000 Graphics Cards

One of those sticks of ram you sent me is bad.

I have tried it in different slots on my mobo, fooled with the Bios, and did everything I could but when it is installed it shows I only have 4GB usable. When I put this PNY ram, or this other Corsair ram I got from Poncho into the same slots it shows I have all 8GB usable.

The ram I got from you has also crashed my system twice while doing all of this.

Your wrapping job

You really shouldn't wrap PC parts in a conductive material like tin foil. I was worried after seeing that so I am testing them all out now. No problems on the ram so far.
