What are you trying to do with that internet browser?

You know, we could pick parts out for you here.. we seem to enjoy that kind of stuff in a very disturbing way.

You really shouldn't just go for minimum specs unless you like screen stutter and your game to play like a slide show.

I want to put it in my new home server upgrade. I'm converting from an mATX in a Fractal R4 Mini to a Fractal Node 304.

The problem I am having is going chipset, I really want 4C/4HT for the very rare cases I might need that horsepower. I would put my current 3770K in there if the 4960Xs would be out.

Too bad 1155 doesn't support dual socket. You could get that one from Ponch along with yours and really have that home server humming.

How pimp is this little guy for a small compact home server?

Dual-LAN or WiFi.. however I choose to connect it. Gigabyte GA-Z87N iTX

ETA:
Yes I would use a my current RAID card also.

Go smaller. Lets solder an 1155 socket onto a Raspberry Pi and get you a laptop GPU.

According to that guy on Reddit 16 cores x 2 chips better than 8 cores x 1 chip.

That's some solid advice and logic.

I bet CPU dependent games like Left 4 Dead really hum along.

I can't mess with the Reddit folks. Yes, I understand some of it is trolling but fckk. A lot of them believe they are right while spreading wrong information.

I'm having a very minor computer issue right now. My monitor has built in speakers but isn't playing any sound right now. I've been trying to figure it out but haven't so far. Any suggestions? Monitor is an Asus VH238H.

The pc you listed has integrated graphics which is not good for modern gaming. Go a different route.

By that, gardoki mean that you need to build. For 800 you can build a computer that would curbstomp that hot mess you posted.

I see some "Realtek Digital Output" thing and it looks like it's working but I still don't hear anything.

Wow...this 660 really is sort of garbäge. That's french for garbage for those of you that don't speak the language of love.

Locked voltage and I can't even throw +70 on the core clock without it crashing.

What cable are you using for your monitor? Does it have independent cable/connectors for your speakers?
