I noticed web sites often give terrible descriptions
Posted on 4/15/13 at 9:25 pm to ILikeLSUToo
You can always get it, then if it's the one with 2-dvi (which is what it probably is), then return it and claim their description is wrong

One step at a time. I'm trying to get stable on 3dmark11. Reading up I found someone with the exact same card saying their memory wouldn't oc at stock voltage so that's probably the issue.

I thought you already had it stable at 1150. Not everyones cards have the exact same OCs. On my old 7970 I got 1280/1850 out of it, and some people can't even get to 1225/1600 on the same exact card and voltage.
Depends on how lucky you get with your card

Blue, did you keep your memory voltage at 1.6 for that mem OC?
Posted on 4/15/13 at 9:39 pm to ILikeLSUToo
I honestly don't remember. It's been a while since I've last had that setup
Posted on 4/15/13 at 9:40 pm to bluebarracuda
It was stable on valley benchmark but not yet on 3dmark11
Posted on 4/15/13 at 9:41 pm to Mr Gardoki
have you tried heaven yet? That's my preferred benchmarking tool

i'm only looking for 300 and shipping. it's a good card that is quiet and barely hits 60 degrees looping heaven. factory OC and a reference 680 PCB. seriously the only downside is that its voltage locked but it ran everything I threw at it without problems. you can shoot me a skype or steam message.

I'm about to create the E-Peen competition again. Is everyone down and ready to join it again?
For prizes I was going to try to get as many people as possible to compile steam game sets.

yeah, sign me up as an official Nvidia fanboi
im all about some AMD processors, but for my graphics cards I will only go NVidia
never had a single problem. For a casual gamer like me, NVidia is great (IMO FWIW /fanboi)
obviously if i was buying a card now id have to consider the great amd related deals going on. But im not, because my 550ti still suits me perfectly, and everyone else i know who got one around the time diablo3 dropped

Never had problems with any of my cards either....
.... Except being voltage locked

Yeah, that blows for the enthusiasts.
If I was looking at the 670/7950 range I may be singing a different tune.

Not ready, but won't be for a while. I will contribute a Steam game prize though.

I will probably get the same/similar score because literally nothing has changed in my rig since the last contest. I may acquire some game keys from a source of mine. If I do, what would be the most desirable game as a prize? Crysis 3, Bioshock Infinite, BLOPs 2, BF3, or something else?

I bolded the two I would want.
I want to play blops 2 for PC (don't hate!).

Seeing how I didn't even have a build during the last one it would be different for me. Sounds like we might should wait though based on some responses.
To answer your earlier question, no I haven't used heaven yet. I am still experimenting with gpu testing software to see what I like.

I want one... baddd... but that little fan is probably too loud for a HTPC/Steam Box.

We have seen people writing about the upcoming launch of Geforce 7-series desktop products, claiming that they won’t appear before CES 2014, but we got some information that the launch takes place by Computex 2013, in just a few months.
We don’t have a fix date but Nvidia has talked to some of its partners assuring them that they will have something new and hot to see as of May 2013. Computex 2013 starts in late May but Nvidia might launch its new graphics card generation a bit earlier.
