No wccft please. Banned site for a reason.

But ya Nvidia is a year behind AMD for MCM. Nvidia won't have theirs until 2023.

I think we're looking at another Gen with a decent AMD performance lead. Possibly large.

I just picked the first site I saw. That rumor has been in multiple places recently.

What’s the story on banning that site?

Fair.

But this particular brand of bullshite is basically everywhere. Just google "Nvidia Lovelace" and read the hits, like from Tom's: LINK

It's banned pretty much everywhere.

And ya as I said Lovelace is a standard GPU, Nvidia is a year behind AMD and the future tech with MCM dual GPUs.

Nvidia's MCM is called Hopper and it's 2023.

LG 42" C2 leak

quote:

Vincent Teoh from HDTVTest searched for clues regarding the C2 and G2 series and found that LG is indeed planning to introduce 42-inch as the smallest size and offer 83-inch screens for the G2 series in 2022.

LG's OLED TVs are already popular among console gamers, but the South Korean TV maker is trying to appeal to PC gamers, as well, and this is clearly emphasized with the addition of the 48-inch size for the 2020 and 2021 models. By further lowering the size and price point with the introduction of 42-inch models next year, LG is looking to make the C2 series a best buy for PC gamers. As the smallest WRGB OLED screen yet, the 42-inch models will feature the highest pixels per inch count for sharper text and crisper game graphics. A smaller screen could offer higher peak luminance in many cases, too.

I've found a couple that are like 150-200 off, but not much

Frankly I'm just excited to find anything. I'd love to build something but as we all know. No graphics cards haha.

I'm thinking this may be my best bet

Haven’t seen you in a while how you been?

I’m up in Pittsburgh for the holidays. Got two weeks off from work. Pittsburgh is pretty mild right now for Winter time (I’m sure it will snow 15 inches tomorrow after I post this)

Good, was banned.

Not playing much games but still into SBCs.

The PC industry as a hobby seems like it will stay in a pretty terrible state for a few more years. Which sucks..

If you aren't in the market for a GPU, the hobby is a ton of fun right now. Lots of competition in cases, CPUs, fans, coolers, and NVME drives, and RAM prices are starting to drop like a rock.

If you are in the market for a GPU, it's frustrating, but not impossible.

Some CPUs are still hard to get, it could be fun.

Fans, I only buy a select few, and honestly the same ones

Cases I will agree. Hopefully we get caselabs back.

I mean, harder than "it's always in stock", but even chips like the 5900x not only stay in stock for days at a time but have had sales run for it. The 5800x and 5600x basically stay in stock. Intel just threw a haymaker with their new lineup, and AMD is likely going to be announcing their Zen 3D refresh next month.

I think people are just used to being pissed about the hobby at this point, and it's going to take a while to break the habit

Bought parts for my dads PC yesterday from micro center and Amazon. He wanted to go Intel but wanted an i7, instead of an i5.

Core i7-11700 $239.99 (Microcenter)
Corsair LPX 16 GB DDR4-3200 $64.99 (Amazon)
SK Hynix P31 1 TB NVME SSD $119.99 (Amazon)
MSI B560 Tomahawk ATX Board $161.00 (Amazon)

Probably overkill for him, but considering parts prices and the pretty big discount on the i7 from Microcenter, I’d say it’s not terrible.
