I'm not an ultrawide guy as I just play competitive MP only really.

The specs on that thing sure are insane though.

TechSpot reviews the 2021 48" LG C1 as a gaming monitor

Good review. Still too big for me but if that 43" does come I think I can make that work. Does have a lot of PC drawbacks since it is a TV.

That's too much monitor for me. My 34" 3440x1440 gets me motion sick sometimes

Only monitor purchases I'll be making soon are swapping my ultrawide secondary screen for 2 4k LG monitors to somewhat match my main. I might get a super cheap 43-48" 4k TV to mount above them all

I'd buy an OLED monitor that wasn't more than a TV oled in a heartbeat.

What are you trying to get? 3080?

AMD direct drop is tomorrow, they have 6800XT’s every couple weeks

I'm gonna start trying for a 6800 again here soon as we get closer to fall games. 6700XT worst case.

If I have to 3070.

How does the 6800xt perform compared to the 3070ti and 3080?

6700xt was really easy to get

I’m gonna keep trying for a 6800xt and sell my 3070ti if I land one. The 6800xt is just really solid at that price point.

I already had a 6800XT close to launch and sold it to a friend due to my downtime not playing anything.

But getting closer and closer to fall releases so ready to get something again.

Need to look at benches for 6700XT again. ETA: meh, think I'll try and get the base 6800.

Anyone following this EVGA 3090's bricking story? Guess they are dropping like flies right now, something about the rear VRM's.

Those VRMs run hot as frick. You're card could be running at like 80C but those VRMs are running 110C+

Yeah I think I'd be doing some mods to try and help keep them cooler if I had one at this point.

Yea even just replacing the thermal pads made a huge difference.

Not many people check specific VRM temps, so it could become a big problem

I hate working with Azure, much rather AWS.

Especially since Microsoft loves to randomly break Azure from time to time
