Koreans aren't the "best", just best in the price/performance

They are the same panels, just A-, but still usually pixel perfect.

Yeah, no ultra wide.

I would like ultra wide as my non gaming monitor on a PC. Esp if it does picture in picture.

One my Koreans does 4x4 picture in picture. I used to use it for my "central" display.

1 for cameras, 1 for Chromecast(I like the ambiet screen), 1 for random video and 1 for server dashboard

Is the weather suppose to get bad?

My mother is driving from basically Mobile to Thibodaux to stay with me tonight. Bringing her big fat arse dog, and her fat arse. I hate my mother.

She is acting like it is a hurricane.

Yea I love my 27” 1440p 60hz IPS panel. I’m looking to upgrade to 1440p 144hz probably. I was thinking I would just wait till the 30xx nvidias came out but reading up on everything is making me quite impatient

What’s it take in the gpu department to run shite like modern warfare at 1440p 144hz max settings?

What's with IPS panels advertising <1ms? I thought only TN panels got response times that fast?

This year seems like the year we finally get a variety in selection for gaming monitors, at decent prices.

Yeah, the monitor I'm leaning towards, the Pixio PX7 is advertised as an IPS but is actually not a true IPS. It's like a TN/IPS hybrid. I think they call it an IPS AAS.

I think I'm gonna wait and grab the LG Nano IPS 4K 144Hz HDR monitor at the end of the year. I can't find a Samsung one or if they have showed off a 4K high refresh rate one or not, just see TV's that have it now.

Is this for real? Mini LED is supposed to bring the price down??? Who is going to pay that?

Also in contention but I want 4K this time so I can have my PS5 at my desk.

Innolux has quite a few coming it appears..

Megazone 31.5” 4K 120Hz/144Hz
7ms (GtG) HDR1000 94% DCI-P3 Q2 2020 N/A
MiniLED 31.5” 4K 120Hz/144Hz
7ms (GtG) 1000-nits 95% BT 2020 Q3 2020 N/A
31.5” 4K 120Hz/144Hz 90% DCI-P3
7ms (GtG) June 2020 N/A
28” 4K 120Hz/144Hz 90% DCI-P3
5ms (GtG) Q4 2020 N/A

Only the first one is hdr1000 certified though.

Yea, I took everything out my living room and hooked to my main gaming monitor when I came home from South Texas.

It's much more enjoyable to play things at a desk than coach, imo.

I do have a 55" 4k hdr tv I sometimes switch inputs right on the side of the monitors. But rather sitting and playing at my desk.

That is a ridiculous price.

I agree, I thought these things would get cheaper.

Fall, October - November is the best time of year.

College Football and usually new games released.

But man, gaming and NFL Playoff football is also an awesome combo.

Edt: does the CBS broadcast look "clearer" than normal?

For us normies who don't see this stuff daily as "network professionals", short video about the different 10GB connector types.

Seems like we may have the names for big Navi

quote:

AFOX submits Radeon RX 5950XT, RX 5950, RX 5900 and RX 5800 XT to EEC

quote:

Ray tracing is also expected to be supported on a native basis in these cards. If the OpenVR benchmarks are anything to go by then we are looking at at least a 15% increase over NVIDIA's flagship: the RTX 2080 Ti.

I'll believe that when I see it.
