Same. I've been thinking about building one of the raspberry pi smart mirrors. Seems like it would be a fun project.

Yeah, was going to build one last year with an old 32" inch TV panel.
I ended up throwing a coffee table at the TV while pissed at the SO.
Edt: sorry not coffee table, TV tray.

Anand of AnandTech. Man that site went to shtt when he left for Apple. Glad he is back fighting the good fight.
I stopped going there pretty much when he left, glad he's back

Same.
You can trust their work again.

Who seems to make the most reliable PSU these days? I'm still rocking my 6 year old 850w Seasonic, but I need around a 550w for the living room pc.

So I'm having an issue similar to yours but in Fortnite. I installed a parametric EQ called Equalizer APO and it fails in Fortnite only. No other application. I uninstalled it and Fortnite now crashes and says the application has hung.
Is there something else I can do to further delete any history of that app being installed? I uninstalled Fortnite and reinstalled last night and haven't tried it.

Try rolling back Windows Updates, in addition.

Windows event viewer should tell me what caused the issue correct?
Posted on 12/20/19 at 9:28 am to Hu_Flung_Pu
Yeah, but man it's hard to tell sometimes.
I may spend days viewing logs, googling codes. At times it is a waste of time but also depends on issue.
It will at less lead you in the right direction.
But remember sometimes sequence is important with Windows updates and installs. I just always roll back if windows lets me when experiencing those issues.

Ryzen 7 4700u APU
LINK
8 core/8 thread chip
2.0ghz base
4.2ghz boost
7nm
Still just a 15w TDP
My goodness laptops are going to get interesting next year. I would bet this thing has a few more CU for GPU too. Or maybe make a Ryzen 9 with more CUs.

Interested to see what the in game benches are going to be. All their other APUs in mobile machines are straight shite and would much rather one of the 8th gen intels or 2nd gen ryzen non-APU

TDP doesn't mean power draw.
Also different for every company. It's not standardized.

Well aware, just nuts they are getting double the cores with what should be within the same envelope still, 7nm really helped there.
4750H (or 4950H?) should be really interesting.

Some ppl aren't, it's miss used all the time. It's one thing that kills me about some articles.
It's an envelope, like you mentioned, to maintain thermals. What I hate is that every company defines it differently.
I'm a huge APU supporter. They are awesome for ppl like us how like an HTPC just for basic games in every room.

Did you watch Linus recent video fibering his whole to a single PC?
Cool idea, but playing games within a VM is a nightmare

Maybe run CCleaner and remove any registry errors too?

That main server PC had to have been in excess of $6k alone, sans graphics cards. It was using a $2.5k EPYC processor, $700 board and probabl what, just under $2k of RAM (512 GB)?
