re: PC Discussion - Gaming, Performance and Enthusiasts
So check this video out. I know y'all don't like fortnite but that is what I play. LINK

He is on pretty low ping (~20) and getting over 200fps at 720p with the geforce now.

I'd start at around 1min

so I could just use another computer and use geforce now app?

That is GeForce now.

Not streaming from home probably. Is he using games on nVidia's servers or running on his PC?

I think it's from nvidia's servers. You have to own the game though.

He was playing on a Mac.

I'm so confused.

You are saying multiple things.

So he was streaming to a mac using Nvidia streaming program ?

Where does the shield fit in? You want a shield because you don't have a laptop with nVidia gpu?

If you have to get another computer, might as well spend the ~$400 on a laptop with an 8th gen i5 and 1050ti

yep, the way I said it was def confusing.

Yes, geforce now is in the video. Streaming to a mac.

Shield TV is natively supported. Mac and PC are in beta apparently.

PC will most likely stay in beta for years as they bring in more AI utilization.

It has been in beta for years already before tensor server and local side.

Have y'all ever bought, sold, or traded on HardwareSwap?

I need to sell my K70 Keyboard, Glorious Model O mouse, and Two OnePlus 5T's.

Are they finicky about stuff on there? What are some tips?

I've bought and sold on there too. Just like Blue said, just follow the rules and it's easy.

I'm worried about trading. They keep saying use PayPal for trading but I dunno how that is supposed to work.

Yeah, I wouldn't trade. There's no way to protect yourself. Also, do not do the friends and family discount on PayPal. You will essentially void all your seller protection.

I guess you can buy the traded item for $1 and they buy your item for $1 and if it doesn't do well, do a dispute.

I suppose you could do that, but the only thing you're going to get from the dispute is a dollar.

Burning 300 in cash would bring more joy.

Just burn money next time.
