I wanted the switch on the front to shut off the light.
Was the original Vali not a tube amp?
I don't see a tube that you can swap in and out like with the 2?

The new Modi is also powered right?
Doesn't use nasty USB power. Or I'm mistaken?

No it was tubes. But you couldn't change. They would start getting bad around 1500hrs.
It was soldered onto the board. Some hybrid shtt, bad idea imo but was a cheap option back then if you didn't want to pay $400 for a tube amp.

That is worth it imo if you have noisy USB ports.

That's wild.
I didn't find Schiit until the Vali 2 and even with that the stock tube is terrible. Took me a few months to find TubeDepot and buy a nice one and made a world of difference.

Yeah Schiit's own design.
It became too much, my first Vali they sent the tubes or 1 tube went bad within a week. Had to send back.
Luckily I had my old Magni to use until then.
They also promised to change the tubes for free for a lifetime. Guess that quicky became a problem.
Edt: Vali 1 tubes were something like this.
Edt2: You wanna hear something really wild?
There used to be a gaming laptop with a tube amp inside. Think it was ASUS.

Nice, I just updated. Quite a few bugfixes in relation to Navi in the details.

Worst part about gravel is you never know the condition of the roads/paths/trails.
Tonight during a scouting trip for tomorrow night's 40K we came across tons of unpassable headlands that recently got chopped up to be graded in the future. Tons of backtracking, trying to navigate in the dark in the middle of a cane field. In purple is the main route which fcked shtt up. You can see how much we back tracked. Again, ignore time.
What 5X do you have? Did you get the kit to track power?

It's the Fenix 5x sapphire edition(a watch). No,I don't have a power meter, but I'm considering getting one. It depends on what crankset I go with on the new bike.

Yea I know dude. I thought about buying one. Think I will. What size you have?
They have a kit you can buy together to monitor power output.

Here she is about to be built this weekend:
Havent built one in 6 years so my buddy is coming over who I used to live with ages ago when we used to mine and such, havent had a get drunk and build/test shite out night in a while

I have the regular sized one. I was going to get the Plus but it's way too big. The speed and cadence sensors I haven't gotten around to getting yet, mainly just waiting till I get a smart trainer. Also, for mtb, there's so many variables that it's hard to get usable data without a dedicated power meter. Speed and cadence can only do so much.

Congrats but PCs take like 30mins to put together. Then it's loading crap.
Wth will y'all do?

Yeah I want the big one but I might wear the thing daily and 51mm looks like you need to take it off when typing/using keyboard.

Mine is the 51mm one, actually. It's not too terribly big. I was thinking the Plus was bigger, but it just has added features like altitude oxygen acclimation.
This is the one I have.

My fiancees uncle always raves about his garmin watch like it's one of his kids
He'll casually go out and do a 90 mile bike ride and then decide at the spurt of the moment to do an Iron Man triathlon
