That's a fricked up situation for the network. I can talk to some of the pro network guys at the data center for suggestions but it won't be until next week.

The Ivy Bridge-EP “Xeon E5-2692 V2? that was pictured is not an engineering sample but a proper retail model which shows that mass productions of the chips have already been initiated showing that the chips might launch sooner. The Xeon E5-2692 V2 processor is built on the latest 22nm Ivy Bridge architecture making use of Tri-gate transistors. The processor features 12 cores, 24 threads and a massive 30 MB of L3 cache. The core clock is set at 2.2 GHz while TDP remains at 100W. For comparison, the flagship Xeon E5-2697 V2 has a 2.7 GHz clock with TDP of 130W Xeon E5-2695 V2 would feature a 115W TDP and a core clock of 2.4 GHz.

I would love to build a 2P or 4P system with E5 Xeons, just wouldn't get any use from it. Idk wtf I would have it do... fold all day?
Thinking about buying an E3 for the home server to replace the 4100 currently being used.

A lot, so much so that i'm purchasing a 3rd in September/October for IB-E launch.
I'm telling you @ 1440 and EVERYTHING turned up it is hard to stay above 60fps on current AAA titles. I usually play with a +75 core +50 mem for those games.

I purchased "Guns of Icarus" this week, has anyone else played this?
Posted on 7/3/13 at 11:30 pm to LSU Coyote
Fair enough, I wouldn't know I guess. Some of those games are just ridiculous like crysis. Do you turn up the AA too?
