I was butt naked in the tub relaxing. (Seriously)

Got out to go dig in my closet. Have backplates too.

Edt: they are 980Ti blocks or OG TITAN(780Ti) blocks. Pretty sure they are for the OG TITAN / 780 Ti though. Etheir way I can thing up the right blocks. They are in my computer room closet somewhere.

Looking at old pics they are OG TITAN blocks. My 980 To blocks are full cover.

I'm going to stay away from the custom loop. I'd spend a lot more on getting the parts for the loop then the actual build itself

Honestly not worth it but would cut down on the leaf blower sound.

I always play with either:

A. Headphones so I cant really hear any outside noise
B. My soundbar and sub so loud I can barely hear after

I play my PS4Pro with it right under my nose.

Fan noise was an issue until I started using closed headphones. Open headphones sound better and are comfortable but you can hear everything.

So stuck inside gaming? Poor you.

Dourdon are you OG from Knoxville or just Tennessee fan?

I'm going do some training in Knoxville for a week starting around January 31. Should be pretty, I'm excited.

Not sure if I'm going in the game are just headed home right before. I will be in the city during the morning no doubt.

I'm ok brother. I did all that shtt.

I remember in 2009 calling my Grandparents crying from outside the hotel door because I spent all my savings. Something like $5,500 in 2days. That was a lot of money for just starting to work 22yr old me. Well did it again but even worse for the Saints/LSU weekend in 2011.

I have a little wiser now.

AMD Gonzalo with the codename 2G16002CE8JA2_32/10/10_13E9 could possibly be the APU that powers the next-generation gaming consoles from Sony and Microsoft. At this time, it's not clear it's based on the Zen+ or Zen 2 architecture. However, Brad Sams, Executive Editor at Thurott, said last month that Microsoft's Xbox Scarlett will come equipped with an AMD Zen 2 octa-core processor built on the 7nm node.

AMD Gonzalo purportedly features eight cores with a 1GHz base clock and a boost clock in the range of 3.2GHz. Sony's current Playstation 4 Pro employs a semi-custom AMD chip that tops out at 2.13GHz, while Microsoft's Xbox One X flaunts a slightly higher clocked part at 2.3GHz. If AMD Gonzalo's reported 3.2GHz boost clock speed is true, the APU will provide a very substantial performance improvement to the current generation of consoles running AMD SoCs based on the Jaguar architecture.

Damn, 3.2GHz boost 7nm Zen 2 cores on the next gen consoles would be quite the jump.

Fwiw, I have a C7 cooling my i5-6500 in my rig. Was using the stock Intel cooler (yes I know =|) for a while, but the C7 is absolutely quiet even when I am gaming. Haven't seen CPU temps go above 65.

Could you post pictures of the build when your finished? I've always liked the Node 202 case. Interested in someone's experience building in it

Nah I'm going to pull one of my 780tis I got in that build I bought last week and put it in there. Wish it was a 1060 instead, but the 780ti will do.

I'll be pushing 375ish watts in the build, so the 450w PSU should be fine

For sure. Case comes in Friday, so I'll probably get around to building it on Sunday.

Played some PUBG on the build last night (built it on top of a shoebox ), and I was surprised by the performance. 100+ fps
