Yeah, if sound is of importance go browns for sure. Otherwise reds.

Clears are the best probably, but very few use clears unfortunately.

Heavy MMO or FPS player or button masher: reds for sure.

Good decision. Brown and Blues are my favorite. Reds and blacks are too mushy for me

Yeah you really only wanna go reds for MMO/FPS/button mashing, which is why all your pros use reds.

The mechanism is the same for Brown and Reds. The resistance is what differs.

You just have to apply more pressure. They are not a quick, that is for sure but the loudness of REDs is a little much.

UH is right. You know when you spam a button on MMOs, you can get more back.

But you really don't need it. I started on REDs simply because of that purpose. You want the right equipment. But I find Browns to be far more enjoyable to game with.

Correct, reds have no "click". Pure smoothness, best for eSports titles, MMO's, etc.

Clears really are the perfect inbetween, just very few make/use Cherry Clears, Ducky is really the only brand out there that use clears in multiple offerings. Never tried them myself but people say they are the perfect middle to reds/browns.

I might try clears in my next KB since I will be sticking with Ducky.

Well browns also do not. The mechanism is the exact same. The force needed for a press is different. Reason I posted the images on the previous page.

Didn't know these existed. I tried Reds, Browns and Greens. Greens I hated. They felt "mushy".

Reds and Browns IMO for a gamer are the only real options.

That's what I mean by smoothness.

LINK

You can click on the Cherry Clears to see the offerings, not very many at all.

Browns/Clears force travel graph. They have the same 55g force as Browns.

So, I had to go buy some capacitors this morning at Fry's.

I thought you guys might find this interesting.

This is the GPU aisle at Fry's in Arlington, Tx as of 10:30 this morning.

That's how it was at the end of last month as well. Microcenter and Fry's both were slammed.
