I have no idea, dude. I never even go to Gamestop much less look at amiibos.
lol
I never go to GameStop and hate them. But they are a good place for Amiibos and ive been addicted since that first week of March.
This is super lame, but I leave terrible Google reviews for GameStops under my real name. They are in the tone of Master Race and Peasants, so have some type of purpose.
Please find them and thumb them up. Start in Thibodaux.

My 3770k is a terrible OCer. Only got 4.4 at 1.26v
That's the highest voltage I can safely throw at it with my h100i.
Got my 980s +240 on core and +225 on memory. I'll take that

Delid tool has arrived! Time to become the first person to kill their CPU with this thing.

Man you will be fine.
It is super easy. Don't stress.
Edt: 5+ GHz as a daily clock blows my mind. Maybe during the P4 days we though it would get to this but once C2Ds came out. It was less about clocks speeds. Glad clocks are becoming more relative again.
And on the note of C2Ds.. I remember being 18-19 and just adding Core 2 Quads to my NewEgg cart and dreaming. Crazy that is 10-12yrs ago now.

Are you coming work at the company I just hired onto?
1/6/2017 I interviewed for this position.
1/11/2017 they emailed me saying I got the job.
3/16/2017 finally received an offer letter.
3/27/2017 started work.
I started interviewing at other places in February because it seems like it would never happen. Just wanted to leave Corpus and get back to Louisiana.
This is by far the longest I've waited to start a job.
I finally got the verbal offer today, waiting on the actual letter though. Start date is May 1, so might actually get a nice vacation in between.
It's a remote position with some travel. Substantial salary increase so I'm stoked about that. Might actually upgrade my rig before 2018.
Not sure if I'm more excited about starting the job or quitting my current one.

We've use far worse tools to delid our CPUs

Yeah.
Honestly it is much easier to bend pins on an Intel board than to fckk up a delid. Maybe you can get hella stupid with it, but you're not retard.
..besides being an AMD fanboy. #joking

Boom. Worked perfect, super easy and gentle.
No wonder my stock temps were a bit higher than normal at idle, the IHS paste was literally completely on the sides and on the chip itself, maybe 1% was even where it was supposed to be what the frick Intel.

Yeah it is crazy. I've pulled apart a few chips and they all are different. Granted they are all different chips from Celerons, Pentinums and i5s but all had different amounts of paste.
They stopped soldering to the die right around finfet (core series). Probably wrong but it was right before or just around that time.

I think I may need to delid my 3770k. I don't feel like pulling apart my shite to do it.
I really need to custom loop my poor reference 980s since they're sitting on top of each other (using a maximus V gene mATX mobo)

42 idle temps before to 33 after.
May not have time to push the OC'ing tonight unfortunately.

I want to see those load temp comparisons. Idle temps don't really mean much
Posted on 4/6/17 at 10:32 pm to bluebarracuda
Yeah idk if I'll have time tonight but I may just make time I want to push it.

Just passed a 20 minute Prime and IETU stress test at 5GHz at 1.365v, the temperature improvement is amazing.
Before delid at my 4.9GHz I was getting max peak temps at 83-85 with an average temp of 78.
After delid at 5GHz max peak temp is just 74 with the average at about 67.
I think I may be able to get 5.1 but gonna have to wait until tomorrow.

I've never blown up a PC since I started upgrading/building PCs in 1986 and yesterday I managed to blow two up. One after swapping video cards. Then I put my secondary PC in service and thunderstorms rolled through while I was at a meeting and blew up the second.
Looks like it's time to put that build together.

What is ur cooler?
My system doesn't go over 50C with 1.44. Really it stays under 50C during load or stress test.
Sometimes I believe the sensors are broken. But know they are not. Its the 2nd CPU I've put in this cooling setup since 2013 and it's always the same temp results.
