I can pull off 60 FPS 4K ultra everything in most games, such as DOOM and Evolve which is mainly what I've been playing.
Oh and Battlefield 4 sits at about 50-55FPS avg.
Very, very happy with the Fury X at 4K, can't believe I was worried for so long and put off this beastly monitor over and over because I thought I'd pull ~30FPS in most games.

Yeah I guess, if you don't max it out. When I speak Ultra, I max everything out. Ultra without everything turned up is just high settings. Its the eye candy we get from the other technologies which sets PC gaming apart. If you will not put that on, well go back to consoles?

It is always funny that my experiences and stats from creditable sources never match what you say. We all make mistakes but what was shocking was wanting to "upgrade" a Fury X to CFx RX 480s. Dude that is a downgrade.
I'm not a dumbass. Might not put my hands on as many cards these days but I still purchase nearly every major card released. It just hasn't been so since Fiji/Big Maxwell.
Also not trying to hate or call someone out. We just have some ppl who are getting into the hobby and they are getting mixed information.
Edt 2: Even with Vulkan drivers we are only seeing results around 45. Yes Fiji got a huge jump in performance, that is great but 4K is hella hard to push.

No guessing about it, full maxed out. Sorry dude.
And you kind of are in regards to AMD, no offense but you just posted OpenGL when Vulkan has been out for a week. Kinda shows you don't really know much about the DX12/Vulkan API's for AMD. Which I guess I don't blame you when Nvidia has been so poor at it.
I mean, a single RX480 pulls 35FPS average @ 4K for DOOM.
Who knew API's mattered as much as the graphic card?

Yeah look at my last edit.
Still doesn't get you there. Im trying to find graphs but only come up with text based graphs.

Edt: Its just confusing to me. Screenshot settings.
I'm serious, nothing adds up.

I mean I can just take some screenshots real quick, it's not hard DOOM has a great overlay for advanced FPS statistics.

No the settings. IDC about that overlay stat TBH. Plus you want to see a graph. So need more data to plot out and not sure if that feature records.
DOOM was killer to run @ 1440 with my cards OC'd to 1527. Can't imagine 2160 with 1 card pushing what it is pushing, and seems like benchmarks support this.
Edt: Thanks. Seriously no hurry. I know I do crank everything to 11. I mean nailing down AA x16, everything but still those benchmarks posted are sort of mid-Ultra 4K setting results.

You're still forgetting an API is just as important as any card. Vulkan brought an average of 30% performance boost across all cards.
Hell it doubled the R9 290 performance from OpenGL.

I know, im looking at benchmarks now. Still not there.
The link is up top.
Edt: Also again, the 30% is on 1080 not across all resolutions or overall. Overall is 11% I believe. That is still hella impressive.

Right 30% across all cards and 1080p. Some as high as 100% performance improvements which I think was the 290 or 290x at 1080.
This is DigitalFoundrys Ultra everything 8xTSSAA 1440p gains
Quite solid indeed, even for Nvidia cards.

So, this pile of parts was brought to my house this morning by a TDer, asked me to assemble it:
LINK
(yep, he should've asked for part selection help first)
(and if said TDer is reading this, I mean no offense. Just venting my frustrations after cutting my fat finger on this case. I remember now why I don't do SFF builds)

Yeah but what is in question is 2160 results, reason I posted 2160 results and linked to 2160 results.

He brought it to you for your cable management skills right?

I'm struggling to find many 4K benches.
Even sites testing multiple cards at 1080/1440 only do the Fury X at 4K.

Here like posted earlier
Edt: wondering why their benches are around 15% slower than digital foundrys. A lot of ppl are saying because VSync is off on DFs and On for that German site.

I'm aware of that, but I am also aware that it takes multiple to get a consensus not a single bench from an unknown site.
Hence trying to find more and there just aren;'t many there.
Probably why I'm maxed pulling 60FPS at 4K and the lone bench out there isn't.
GamersNexus only did the 480 and 1080.

ComputerBase isn't random FYI
36 for a 200 buck card at 4K is awesome.
Edt: The end game here is to prove my point that Little Pascal/Big Maxwell/Fiji still doesn't have the arse to truly max out a AAA @ 2160. We need VEGA and Big Pascal to do so.
This is even after Vulkan.

It is to me, and their results are quite different from the one other source. I'm just not finding enough benches at this point, which makes sense with it being just days old.

Yeah not much out there. Surprisingly.
Even PCPer is blank.

Minimum FPS 52
Maximum FPS 68
May get an FPS or 2 more if I turn adaptive sync off, not sure.
