It's weird though it only works in slots one and two even though the board says to use 2&4. Oh well.

They don't work in 2 and 4? That means they have compatibility issues across channels, or you have a bad DIMM slot. You set the XMP profile?

They don't work in 2 and 4.
Haven't set xmp do I need to or is leaving it at auto okay? At this point I'm sort of scared to do anything lol
Edit: for slots 2 and 4 I don't think I fully understand what post means but the led numbers cycle and I can't enter bios the monitor remains blank.

Set XMP so your sticks are running at the specs intended. If it won't POST in slots 2 and 4, I'm still suspecting compatibility problems. If it posts but simply doesn't detect the RAM in slot 4, it's possibly bad DIMM slot.

Yeah it was running slower than it was supposed to.
I created xmp at 2400.
I don't think it worked on slots 1 and 3 I know it didn't for 2 and 3. At this point I'm can't remember with 100% but I do know it works with 1 and 2

Yep flash the bios this way.
DO NOT use MSIs live update to update the Bios. Too many documented cases of that method bricking the moboard.

Worth testing 1 and 3. It would drive me nuts knowing my RAM wasn't running in dual-channel mode.

If it's not in alternating slots, it's not running dual channel. Has to be in 1 and 3 or 2 and 4.
EDIT: It's not as though you'll see any significant performance hindrance or anything. It's just an OCD thing for me, knowing that something isn't functioning quite right. It may or may not indicate issues elsewhere or in the future, too.

Someone riddle me this, Ashes of the Singularity requires you to disable xfire or sli to use multiple gpus? It's using dx12, but I don't understand why I have to disable it for it to take advantage of two gpus.

Because it's not exactly using SLI or crossfire, which are distinct technologies with their own sets of rules -- far more limited than what DX12 can do. It sounds like the game is bringing the promises of DX12 to fruition, which is to take your GPU power and use it how the game sees fit, or based on your configuration. It's called explicit multiadapter mode (with two types, linked and unlinked, depending on your GPU situation).

ILike you won't like the neon, but at half the price of a Naga Hex I am liking these so far, they are a bigger mouse so it fits my hand better, the Hex was a little small for my hand.

Yeah, that's hideous, but most of the mice I've owned are ugly as hell too. Aesthetics are irrelevant in selecting mice and keyboards for me. I'd certainly love it if the companies that make gaming peripherals would understand that we aren't all 15, though.

Friend is building a new PC plan is to spend around 1300$ should he go ahead and get the 980TI or wait and see if anything dropped during summer is worth waiting for? Any suggestions on a Build around 1300$?

Could you throw me something together without the GPU? Or not possible because you aren't sure how much the gpus are gonna be? He doesnt plan on overclocking.

Yeah I think he might have a 560 or that might of been what died. I was planning on trying to do the same thing with his computer thought that was a pretty smart idea
